Members LoyaltoAMC
No, that is incorrect. Charles Tyler and Hugh Franklin both died in 1986. Franklin was bumped to recurring in 1983 and made sporadic appearances thereafter--most notably Kate Martin's funeral in 1985.
Members All My Shadows
Ooooh okay, that makes sense. I remember reading that he "left" in 1983 because his hearing was starting to affect his ability to act, but I remembered seeing clips of him that had to be post-'83. Members soapfan770
Ah thanks for the correction, my bad. After I posted that I suddenly wasn't sure anymore, it's been a long time since I had watched B&B's first week on the old WOST site. It seems Clarke didn't come until that fall. Members Paul Raven
Regarding AMC, I read somewhere that the first Ann only lasted a couple of eps (if not one) before being replaced with Joanna Miles,
Members LoyaltoAMC
Also, wasn't Deborah Steinberg Solomon as original character as Sydney Scott, or did she join a few months later? Does anyone recall anything about this character? I didn't start watching until 1976, but I know she was on at least a year or two.
