Carlton Cuse Writing a Civil War Drama

  • Member
<span style="font-size:120%;">Since the end of Lost, one half of Darlton — the Damon Lindelof–Carlton Cuse mind meld that oversaw the show — has been keeping really busy. Lindelof has been a whir of activity, writing Cowboys & Aliens, the Aliens prequel, and the next Star Trek. Carlton Cuse had been comparatively quiet, but as of today he's also back in the game. Cuse and Secretariat director Randall Wallace are working on a Civil War–era series for ABC, set in Virginia, that, like Lost, will be an "event" series. Maybe Robert E. Lee built the giant four-toed statue? [On the Air/Variety]

LOL.

What does event drama exactly mean? mellow.gif

20 episodes scattered about from January-May, like Lost I would assume. Spend the other half of the year hyping the hell out of it in ads and to the press.
