Still no luck finding the Y&R wins from the 1989 SOD Awards, their best showing of the 1980s.

Found it, thanks! Took some digging I thought it was under clips instead of full episodes.

Thank you anonymous angel!! I never hoped to see these May '92 scenes, and they did not disappoint. It felt like a dream to watch them. So precious.

And even Sheila's memorial! What a treat to see a final appearance of the beloved Naomi and Doris (Doris, who thinks Lauren is afflicted by the devil ) Inconceivable that Scott did not have Cricket and Danny attend the memorial.

Wow wow wow, so much goodness! Danny's June '88 "Concert for the Homeless"!! Always wanted to see it but never thought I would! (Looks like Nikki did not wind up attending even though she did the PR for the concert) plus scenes from Jessica's first bout with AIDS - so rare and special.

Thanks for the tip BoldRestless and Thank You Anonymous Angel!!

Your welcome!  Yeah I was confused too, and of course I got a little overly excited that we had a couple more "full" May 92 episodes, but I'm still happy about the clips.

Man If anything, they really did make Sheila out to be the "victim" of this whole thing. Everyone talking non stop about how much Sheila loved Scotty, and how she was the "only mother" he's known.....So disturbing...I couldn't believe it when Scott said he didn't realize Sheila had this "dark side" to her....um Hello?!.....You already witnessed her dark side several months before with her constant paranoia, her threats to take away Scotty, and of course drugging you....That was a load of B.S to me...

Doris, Naomi and Ruth are definitely #teamSheila!  Ruth didn't seem phased about what Sheila did...she either doesn't have many friends, or just thinks Lauren drove Sheila to madness (which is true in a way..LOL.)  It confused me also that Scott didn't actually reveal to Ruth what Sheila did, yet the minister basically explains it during the funeral...yet she doesn't react?

Yeah I was kind of annoyed about John Silva not being there too, or even Olivia? Danny and Cricket should have been there, but I already knew they weren't because someone on Usenet mentioned that Cricket not being there for her brother was "odd" LOL

Wow, I started watching those May/June 1988 Danny/Cricket clips. Rare that they actually had a Carnival set!  I remember hearing about Cricket Selling Kisses, but I thought that was during Danny's Concert.

There was definitely some strange things with the tone of these follow-up scenes after Sheila's "death". Scott was whitewashing their history but I guess you could argue it was the shock of it all. Still, I'm surprised that Scott didn't have more of a sense of relief. For the 6 months prior, Sheila was the sword hanging over Scott's head.

I guess with Ruth, since she's such a disposable character, the writers felt like it wasn't necessary to recap to her what happened once again, after Lauren has already recapped it to Paul and Lynn, and then to Scott. (I loved the flashbacks were incorporated into Lauren's memories)

What was super-weird was how the priest recapped everything during the memorial?? Based on everything Scott had told him? It didn't feel necessary for the priest to get so specific, lol... and not appropriate for a memorial.

Even Lauren at some points seemed remorseful…I guess she just felt bad for Scotty but, it’s still strange hearing her regard Sheila as Scotty’s mother, knowing her much she hates her.

yeah I was thinking too why did the minister have to say all that? Haha

btw some bit of trivia, that’s actually TEBs real son Austin playing Scotty in those scenes!

I didn't realize that - so sweet!

So the big outstanding question is (and Lauren even notes this to Paul and Lynn) - what made Sheila snap and kidnap Lauren...? Because Lauren had zero clue what the truth was until Sheila spelled it out for her at the farmhouse.

The only thing I can think of is - Sheila thought it was inevitable that Lauren would learn about the birthmark removal and put two and two together.

We'll only know for sure if the eps leading up to May 4 ever appear

Yes, her son apparently would sub whenever the twin girls playing Scotty got sick. That is sweet considering it was Bill Bell that suggested that TEB keep her son on set with her throughout this story.

i kind of think the lab fight might have pushed Sheila over the Edge but yeah they never really elaborated what was Sheila’s final straw.

Hope those episodes surface soon. Perhaps one of the best uses of an actreses' actual pregnancy.

Did Scott ever realize Sheila raped him and their "affair" wasn't consensual? I asked this before but how does Sheila not ring alarm bells if she's using her real name in Los Angeles LOL?

I suppose B&B writers knew Sheila would be a longterm charachter so they didn't want her using an alias? Maybe not to confuse new viewers?

Lauren keeping her promise to Scott and not exposing the baby switch still makes no sense to me, especially given all her Sheila takedown attempts on B&B

Y&R frustratingly sweeps alot of things under the rug, and glosses over details, lol.

    • Who's door did Eva pop up at? It looked like Ted.
    • Today I fully appreciate Rocco - for the first time! "In case you can't tell, we're freshmen." He has got it going on in that brain of his! Yeah, but I've been having trouble with Brook Lynn, I guess, for 2 weeks now.  God bless Tracy Angelica Quartermaine! How can that woman, seemingly so rigid, so dug-in, turn on a dime the way she just did?!!! Of course, Danny is way glib for his age! "My brother is an Introverted Extrovert." Hilarious! And, the thing that shocked me, and really just rocked me back ... Dante has been IN LOVE with Lulu this whole time. He never stopped being in love with her!!! No, I did not see that coming.  Kudos to the GH Team today!!
    • Great script Great scenes Tracy BLQ Lulu and Dante were Great Poor Rocco. Be ok Damn Gio and Vaughn are hot as hell Not liking BLQ demanding Maxie pick between her and Lulu
    • With the ending of today's great episode, Leslie has to have the biggest donkey dick of courage I've ever seen.
    • The answer I was looking for is "he is Elvis Aron Banks Jr. " which is what I thought was the case but I was too unsure to say so!!!! Thanks, as always. I mean, there is NO Elvis Aron Banks Sr. so there was no real need for Susan to make him a Junior!!!  But, she seems to have her own way of doing, just about everything, which is okay.

date: Friday, May 2 | Teresa Zimmerman, Judy Tate | Steven Williford The drama-rama is drama'ing! This is juicier than the freshest of fresh peaches picked right from its home. Deadbeat, finally able to get his frustrations out physically on someone; instead of it being Bradley, it's Dana. I love the unraveling of Dana's names (Leslie, Sherry, Anna, et al.). It's juicy. And look at Dr Carlton, chiming in. I love the way Anita and Dani fled to Nicole's side, and then Vernon trying to excuse everyone but "immediate family" (and I am sure Mona as well) from the room. Dana is coming undone. She really is. Her numerous ways of pronouncing "Teddy" to everyone. Oh, Nicole's collapse into a furious Anita hearing "lover" coming from Dana's mouth. BILL KNOWS SOMETHING! His all-too-casual non-denial shows he knew about something concerning the affair, and of course the child bride wants to know what it is. Love that Shanice visited Vanessa; I wonder what kind of friendship they may actually have. Well, now we know Bill's involvement, AND the bombshell has been dropped: Eva is [supposedly] Ted's daughter he thought Dana aborted. "Smarty Marty". Whew. Good name for Deadbeat. I appreciate Dani's anger and hurt being focused into anger and love for Nicole. Dana swishing her way out of the main part of the country club to her closet was everything. A soap villain sashaying her way from the havoc she's wrecked. I appreciate that both Anita and Vernon are assuring Mona is not to blame in this. She's an innocent in this. But her looks to Eva? Those could cut like a butter knife. Douglas knows Vanessa has cheated and is continuing to cheat. ARE WE ABOUT TO GET KATHERINE VERSUS TED?! Oh, this is going to be even juicier than I could have ever asked for. CAN PEOPLE STOP SITTING ON TABLES! IT'S SO ANNOYING! Dana's little daydream of talking to Nicole was everything; that's the "crazy" (a.k.a., mental illness). Billy boy, it's time for your turn in the hot seat. Stop rubbing toes and get your ass to the main house. Not Dana showing up at the Dupree home. Oh, what does she have planned next?! Whew... chile. General notes: Trisha Mann-Grant (Dana) gave an empowered performance in today's episode. She commanded the set that day. This is an Emmy-worthy supporting performance. Ambyr Michelle (Eva) is one that has really shown in the past few episodes; she's another young star in the making. She embodies Eva in every single sense. She brings the scripts to life through her craft. Maurice Johnson (Ted) brought nothing. I'm not surprised he was recast at this point. Keith D. Robinson would have rocked these scenes and actually presented something to the table.
    • I agree!  I'm excited to see if Nicole forgives Ted, if Ted accepts Eva, if Kat accepts Eva, what happens with Leslie... if Martin's story will play into any of this...
    • I like that I don't know what direction they are going in next for this storyline. It's a great place to be for a fan like myself!
    • I am so appreciative of the camaraderie of watching BTG in real time with other posters here
