November 20, 201015 yr Member Larry came back before Billie was shot. What exactly was so terrible about the writing? Whoops! What I get for not going back and refreshing my memory. There is a scene that sticks out to me, probably because I happened to see it again on YouTube not long ago. Billie is shot on the docks in front of Shane. It's so laughably bad that Shane, this longtime ISA agent, has no idea what to do when Billie gets hit. That might be stating it a little strong, but Shane's reaction was completely out of character. For a cop, Billie's written pretty dumbly, too. Even by Salem cop standards.
November 20, 201015 yr Member Don't worry, Billie as a cop made very little sense to me, especially when they kept having her in that blond wig at the beginning of Rianna's return. The Good: -Austin and Sami's 2002 wedding disaster -Last Blast dances of 2000 and 2001 -Tony's initial return in 2002 with Stefano's will -End of the Zac/J.T. baby switch saga -Lucas and Sami -Early Sami and EJ -Lexie as a DiMera; Lexie/Brandon/Sami -The returns of Stefano, Tony, and Anna -Nick Fallon and Chelsea, oh and Billie too -The Grace/Sydney baby switch saga -Victor and Maggie The Mixed: -Steve and Kayla's returns -Parts of the Salem Stalker were good, the other half was BAD -Days' take on Dynasty's Moldavian Massacre -"Evil" John the Pawn -Mimi's abortion turned into a blackmail saga -The whole Ava story -Returns of Carly and Vivian, along with Buried Alive 2.0 The Bad: -Melaswen -Alex North saga -Touch the skies -Tinda Lau -Most of 2008 really -Bombs in Salem -Brady vs. Marlena -Shawn in the Cage -Chloe is "dead" -and last and the LEAST: We would still like to know what crack Langan was smoking the day this episode aired, perhaps the worst in all of TV history across all genres. November 21, 201015 yr Member Least as in the least bad Actually, I might have to agree with you after I suddenly remembered that horrific exit episode for Bonnie and Mimi in 2007. In a single episode, both were destroyed and gutted and given an extremely bleak outcome.
