Leave it to pathetic, film-school losers who don't understand the art of soap to make fun of soap or to label what they thought was a serious film piece/comedy a "soap opera" because it didn't quite meet their initial expectations.

To properly parody something you have to, on some level, be able to understand the subject that you're mocking beyond what is seen on the surface.

Someone should develop a real, totally effective soap parody that makes fun of fans, behind the scenes people, bloggers/reporters, the whole shebang. THAT would be funny.

I'll give it a watch later, but I am tickled by that title (too bad it isn't more ironic and less literal... a great title for a series about a certain breed of neo hippie urban-suburban college grads-early thirtysomethings).

ive heard of this, but never saw it. it isnt that good.

ikea is odd. odd things happen there. i went to a dinner party there. yes, at ikea. you can rent out the display rooms and throw parties.
