Members Sylph
This is a bit old, but HBO ordered another pilot from Alan Ball. Oh, joy. Some info here too.
Members sheilaforever
The story sounds kind of blah, but an adaptation of Ball makes it probably pretty appealing.

Members EricMontreal22
Well yes, we all know you dislike him. I'll def give it a chance, with my "blind devotion" to him (your words, not mine ) but it sounds like this will be more hands off, the way JJ Abrams has been for some of "his" shows (most of which were pretty bad...) I wonder if another network--one trying to build their pedigree like Starz or AMC would pick it up just on his pedigree alone? I do have to admit, it doesn't sound liek a great idea for a series.
