Rylee will destroy this show and bringing Kendall back to pimp them will only speed up the process.

You suck Frons.

I think it depends on the airtime. If the new headwriters allowed to keep the show in balance, I think AMC will be okay. However, if Frons dictate that Greenlee/Ryan/Kendall dominate the airtime, it will get really ugly, really fast.

I don't know. Watching Ryan come up with his little plan was like watching Frons wrap a length of piano wire around this show's throat.

Well, to be realistic, we've seen proclamations in the opposite ring false: "If this character leaves, the show is doomed! If that couple leaves, say good bye to AMC!"

No one character or couple is the end all be all for this show. By nature of the beast, there will always be something available to keep an audience. With DVR and TiVo as well as online viewing, skipping the bitter to get to the sweet is relatively easy. So, unless people find NOTHING of interest, they won't tune out altogether.

It's not the presence of these characters that I find destructive. They each have their fans and I know all too well what its like to watch people insist so-and-so doesn't have any fans. It's just that I can feel the Frons in all this and that's what scares me. I like Ryan with Madison, not in a shipper way but in a "OMG, I don't want to punch the screen when Ryan's on!" way. I liked the weird "Sid and Nancy" bond Greenlee and David had before the bus rolled in and I was willing to give Kendall a shot.

I truly believe that the thing that's been working in AMC's favor has been that it's the least Fronsian of ABC's soaps but this Rylee/Kendall setup just oozes with his toxic slime and that mess is impossible to get out of the carpet.

Taking care of her dogs. And unless it's on an interim basis (with LOTS of chasers to rein her in), she can stay away.
