Short term soap stints you enjoyed

I remember the soap press being hard on Lynn Milgrim, Claire Bloom's replacement. SOD said that Orlena went from Lady Macbeth to Cruella De Vil.

You've probably already seen this, legalgirl82, but a few years ago Eddie Drueding updated his page with some comments from Anne Meacham.

Thanks, Carl...I have seen it, but it's worth looking at again. And it's a good reminder that for some reason with that character I've always erroneously used the alternate spelling of Louise, lol.

Another favorite short stint, also from AW, was the delightfully twisted Sven Petersen, as played by Roberts Blossom. From a time before I knew what a spoiler even was, I can remember the absolute shock of Jamie and Dennis discovering poor Rocky's dismembered body under the floorboards of the Cory boathouse. Seeing Blossom years later in his (initially) seemingly creepy role in "Home Alone" instantly reminded me of his Sven.
