Welcome back, Kate Hall!

I've been looking forward to JR/Annie for awhile and they didn't disappoint me.

The courtroom scenes and Greenlee/Kendall scenes had me on the edge of my seat. I can't remember the last time I was so engrossed in an episode!

Ick Ryan! Everytime I see him acting like Mr. Big Shot around that casino I want to tie him to a chair and burn the place down around him. But that's nothing compared to how Jack pissed me off. "Greenlee doesn't know what she wants" "Who cares what she asys. She really loves you, Ryan." Geez Jack, do you mind if Greenlee crosses the street without holding your hand? And as long as Jack's in Pine Valley chasing after Greenlee, I have to ask: how's Reggie liking basketball camp?

I hate the fact that they're making Annie stupid enough to fall for JR lame-ass game. Crazy Annie I like. Stupid Annie not so much.

David Canary is an acting god. That can never be said enough.

Yeah, I was saying in an earlier thread that I hope it turns out she's just going along with this cause she needs boning and it's J.R. and Colby who are being duped (with of course a little bonus for J.R.). I don't see Annie and J.R. as relationship material, I have a hard time imagining nutty buddy with anyone really and they usually put characters like Annie with guys who can somewhat "tame" them. That's pretty boring.

So what's the word on Scott now? If they care about the character they need to make him more interesting on the page, and if he's not matched with the right woman, zzzzzzzzz. Not at the expense of Brot, but I wonder how a Scott and Natalia pairing would be. Again, if they don't make Scott a little more interesting, Sominex even with a firecracker like Natalia.

Scott needs a recast. Ive grown to tolerate the current guy (after initially disliking him) but he is not leading man material. He's too goofy for me. If they can hold out that long I say AMC should try and get Daniel Cosgrove when ATWT goes off the air

I agree with every last word of this post! Especially the "Greenlee doesn't know what she wants" bullshit. How incredibly GROSS is that? I, most definitely, was not one of the voices screaming for the return of Jackson Montgomery. He lost his appeal to me during that horrid Who Raped TKFP storyline. He got a pass of my anti-Jack bias when he seemed to understand that Bianca might be gay and tried to let her know he'd be there for her, but the minute he became Greenlee's father, I hated his presence again. He seems to coddle that grown ass, cosmetics founder and CEO as if she's some 15 year old school girl. I hate that dynamic between Jack and Greenlee and that line in the casino only made it worse.

And Annie... despite her background and need to feel loved and secure, there is no way she wouldn't spot this manipulation from six days away! I've felt that Lorraine Broderick in all of her character driven genius (excuse me while I remove my tongue from within my cheek) has no CLUE how to write Annie. The writing for Annie has been ridiculous. She's being written as this dumb girl who doesn't know what she wants. Quite the contrary. She always knows what she wants, proactive and knows how to stay one step ahead of the game. Now, all of a sudden, she doesn't know if she wants to divorce Adam or stay with Adam -- and is gullible to the point of letting a post-op cancer patient trick her into bed?! I understand getting JR back to his cunning and calculating roots as well, but Annie's gifts in that department shouldn't have to be sacrificed.

I've been taking David Canary's impending departure rather personally... I don't know why. Watching Adam on the stand in this episode, I started to get a little misty. Not because of Adam's heart troubles, but because of the fact Canary NEVER phones it in. EVER! And, forgive me for sounding faux-elitist but, I had to chuckle at how people assumed he was phoning it in because they didn't catch the nuance and concept of his portraying Stuart in heaven without the mental disability. It's that attention to detail that these other "actors" (cough-CAMERON-cough) have yet to master.

ABC tends not to do favors for the actors they dick over on other shows.

Which is unfortunate cause I think Greg Vaughan looks quite a bit like Jacob Young.

I agree about David wanting to save Adam doing WONDERS for his character in that one brief moment. Thank you Lorraine for remembering that David isn't pure evil.

And WOW to JR and Annie. I was nearly sweating with how hot they were!
