(I never saw Ian on PC just read about him--it always seemed odd that they wanted Patrick's twin on the show--especially since he didn't make a cameo on OLTL first to get viewers to switch over or something...) She appeared in dreams/visions to Ian as she had died years earlier. When Thorsten joined PC, ABC was at the height of its crossover mania, so having him appear on PC as anyone other than a Thornhart would've been a big no-no. But by that time, he had relocated to the West Coast so they didn't want to bother creating him on OLTL first.
