Jason47 Presents Four Decades of Doug: A Tribute to Bill Hayes. Bill Hayes celebrates 40 years since his debut as Doug Williams this week. His first episode aired on February 18, 1970. Check out this special tribute, including many pictures and video links. Also, available for the first time online, read the entire script of Doug's first episode. In the episode, Bill Horton is just arriving at prison after being charged with the death of his former sister-in-law, Kitty Horton. Once he arrives at his cell, he meets his new cellmate: Doug Williams (then going by the name of Brent Douglas). http://www.jason47.com

That's great, I didn't know some of those clips were out there. 40 years, wow. Talk about longevity. For some reason one of my main memories of Doug was when he dressed up as Sherlock Holmes for the costume party Mary was murdered at. What was Julie dressed up as again?
