Members EricMontreal22
Part 1 is here: http://sn.soapnet.go.com/news/article/ericas-memorable-moments-part-1 They're really going all out with this "AMC is returning to its roots" thing. But this reminded me--has the famous 80s episode ('88?) of Erica, while passed out during labour or whatever, dreaming of all her past husbands EVER made it to youtube? And if not, why not, Damnit--it's one that I've never been able to see.
Members SFK
I've never seen the full episode on YouTube (or like you, even in its entirety), only bits and pieces used in clip shows. I *did* see Susan on Oprah promoting that episode though. I remember her and Oprah in the promo, Susan cheesing for the camera telling us to join her "and All My Men!" on the next Oprah. Actually, I think that was on YouTube a few months (weeks?) ago, but seeing as how it's Oprah, it's probably been yanked by now. Had to turn down the volume on my computer, can't believe that stupid video to the right loaded EVERY time I clicked to the next page in that Erica article. Members EricMontreal22
I HATE HATE that--especially since I try to avoid promos--it's one of the most annoying aspects of SoapNet (abc.com is almost as bad but not quite). I have the Oprah episode, ironically and, yeah have seen lots of clips, but not that actual episode. Since a lot of major eps from the late 80s have been saved, you'd think someone would have taped sucha promoted episode and uploaded it (then again I'm always shocked then NONE of the Budapest storyline is online, nor--ok this is rarer but--the Carter Jones Loving crossover, though I have some of that on video that I need to work on trasnfering). Members Jonathan
Love it. Erica has had a heck of a life. I really liked her and Michael Sabatino together. In some ways, I guess that was the early version of Dr. Hayward. No Budapest pics in this gallery, maybe in part 2? Phantom Erica. I've seen that footage of her and the Saints. But I can't remember how that story point came about. Anyone remember?
Members EricMontreal22
HAHA as much as SoapNet often drives me crazy I did love their sense of humour in these comments (why was Phantom Erica dressed liek that at school anyway?) Yeah Kinder in many ways did remind me of early Dr Heyward. He even brought back long gone characters, all drugged up (Skye)--I woulda liked him not to have been killed off--except I loved the whole murder story, with the "three witches" dragging his body around, etc.
Members Jonathan
Erica became delusional and thought she was in high school again. So she went there. Dr. David found her and she was insistent on seeing how her face looked without the bandage. So he showed her and she went mental.
Members Pine Charles
LOL! I've seen that episode from 1980 when Erica was trash talkin' Pine Valley on Dick Cavett. Someone sent me a tape of it. It's hilarious.
Members EricMontreal22
HAHA I vaguely remember that Jonathan. I admit at the time a lot of people online didn't like the Phantom Erica story but I loved it (though it was better when Agnes Nixon wrote it obviously) I'd love to see that Cavett one.
