Members Scotty
You know, when I first read the title, I thought it was going to be a new biopic about the life of the 15th century priest Martin Luther who started the Protestant Reformation. Members MarkH
I was hoping so! I actually visited his Church one year, on Christmas Eve! What an experience!
Members Cat
I thought so, too. I had a vision of Russell Crowe, rocking a monk's pudding-bowl haircut, nailing his 95 Theses to the church door. Can you imagine Hollywood's execs discussing the pitch for this movie? "You don't suppose we could get Mel Gibson to direct this? He did so well with 'Passion.'"
Members Sylph
LOL! Well I forgot the King part. And intentionally so, I wanted a shorter thread title. But, anyway, I think Martin Luther, the German, is such a filmic character, a film would be fabulous!
