Whoa! I didn't see that one coming. How lovely.

She's doing a lot more American film recently - there was that silly Vin Diesel movie plus a fun horror flick with her and one of the Treadaway brothers, with both of them mostly naked, on Netflix. I hope she keeps going, she's so talented.

It's pretty clear that Game Of Thrones is going to be one of those shows that launches a hundred careers. Deadwood did that as well.

Sophie Turner says Sansa is out for revenge.

She will likely get an assist from Alfie Allen’s Theon, who was last seen at the end of Season 5 escaping Ramsay’s (Iwan Rheon) clutches with Sansa in tow. “This is the season where she’s starting to turn things around and people are starting to rally for her,” previews Turner. “She’s trying to get people to listen to her. She’s building a group of trusted people that will help her get what she wants, which is — ultimately — revenge.”

Sansa can be seen in the latest trailer

riding into what looks like battle with men with the banners of House Stark,

so that's interesting.

Also: Finn Jones talks to EW about Iron Fist and in the other segment, about Loras' very bad month/week/whatever.

There's discussion/speculation that a final end plan might include something like a seven-episode 7th season and a six-episode 8th season. As it has been made clear before, HBO really doesn't want the show to sign off after season 7, so they might compromise with something like this.

Lame. They did that with Mad Men. Although Mad Men is a bunch of actors standing around a set whereas Game of Thrones could really put all the budget into some really epic half season madness!

That was my take on it too. I don't like the idea of shortened seasons (as if they weren't short enough already as it is!) but since this idea is for two separate seasons, it means season 8 would have its own budget with which to convey the end of the story.
