Now will the other singing competition shows realize they reached a peak five or six years ago and have only been banging deeper and deeper into a brick wall since then? Maybe they would have survived a little longer had they been about the contestants and not completely about the judges.
February 9, 201412 yr Member I suspect one of the problems is the UK Pop Idol show was stopped to make way for X Factor and there was no need for both. Here of course no idea is immune from being beaten into the ground so they ran both and The Voice at the same time. There are just so many songs needing to be sung in this world. That and the show here was awful. I loved American idol back when Paula was on it, but X Factor with their ridiculous editing, dramatic music and dramatic pauses by the judges...it all just came off completely staged and fake.
