I know there is zero chance of this happening but I hope glitter bunny Johnny Weir pulls something out of the bag that puts him in medal contention.

I hope he gets the bronze or silver. He doesnt have a shot for the gold. He is in 5th place. As for getting second or third I dont see the judges giving him the scores for his flaming skating. Sad but true.

Evan did it he won Gold - however think Johnny was robbed and should have won bronze.

Apparnetly not everyone thought Evan deserved to win, http://sports.yahoo....=yhoo&type=lgns.

Mishin felt the same way http://sports.yahoo....=yhoo&type=lgns. Plushenko's a sore loser to boot. he called Evan "not a real champion".

I understand that Mishin feels this way, but Elvis's reaction suprised me. Figure skating needs to be a complete package and not just based on who can do a quad. This also goes the other way around too. I remember being infuriated when Jefferey Buttle would score high at events based on his artistry, but he couldn't jump to save his life.

Plushenko said no one could win if they didn't do a quad - Evan was golden last night - tonight it is the ice dancing SP and I really look forward to Sun. when Davis/White do their LP to POTO.

IMO - skating is more then doing a quad and then think o.k. now give me the gold and Evan was the complete package with so many elements in his LP and deserved the Gold!

If Evan still wants to skate, he can try to win a gold medal in pairs.

I havent read those comments but Plushenko's quad was wobbly at best. All his jumps werent clean. GMAB Plushenko....you looked like you were going to fall on every jump you attempted.

I can't believe these people still have jobs. How can you work in the media and think it's ok to say these things? At least JW showed some joy in his his skating, which can't be said for Plushenko.
