There are actors and actresses that bring out the best in Susan. I think besides giving her better material to work with, the writers are letting her interact with more people. Letting Susan do what she does best with everyone. They're not confining her to Jack, to her family, etc. David Canary, Vincent Irizarry, Rebecca Budig, etc. all spark something in her. I saw more life in Susan in her scenes with Vincent and with Rebecca then I have in years. When she feels the the script, when she can feel the energy and spark with her co-star, she makes it fantastic.

Loved her hair and make up, but that shirt, [!@#$%^&*]. Lets burn that please.

Hopefully, that material is coming because so far, I haven't seen anything "Emmy worthy" from Susan Lucci, from these writers. Not even anything to be excited about...maybe the David\Erica stuff, but the rest..mainly with Ryan\Jake\Amandumb\Gayle, I really dislike Erica when she's with them and I feel like she deserves more, and a story of her own that doesn't involve plotting, or rather, interacting with those hot messes.

I agree though. Susan has seemed more passionate with the work she has been given. I havn't enjoyed Erica this much in years.

Hopefully Broderick will stay on the team.
