October 23, 200916 yr Member In the other thread I said Trucker is Kevin uncle. & that's why Ryder is related to Kevin. A whole new set of Fishers? I don't want to be near SON if that happens....
October 23, 200916 yr Member A whole new set of Fishers? I don't want to be near SON if that happens.... I do. It's kind of fun watching people's heads explode(hey, I have two kids and a dog, I don't get out much anymore). Edited October 23, 200916 yr by Juliajms
October 25, 200916 yr Member Phyllis had lost Daniel. In the chaos of her life, and looking for a new start, among many things, she bedded Jack Abbott (on the floor of an apartment, actually). Then, shortly after, she left town. Alone, with no job and no life, she discovered that she was pregnant. Feeling unworthy as a mother, with no job and no prospects, alone in a strange town, clinically depressed, Phyllis gave up the girl she bore...Jack's daughter. It felt to her like an acto f selflessness to compensate for the selfhishness that had defined all of her years with Daniel. Phyllis actually maybe even sold the child...got money for her...and with that she went back to school and became the exquisite webmaster/computer expert that she was when she returned to Genoa City the last time. Later, after they were married, you'll remember her desperation to have a child with Jack, and her despair when she lost the baby and learned she could never safely have a child again. (Never mind that she actually had Summer later). We all assumed the backstory was that she wanted a 'second chance'...to make up for losing Daniel. But maybe the backstory was richer...and included the child she had with Jack and gave up because she did not believe in her own mothering. This backstory would place the daughter she gave away -- Jack's daughter -- at an age less than Daniel...but maybe as little as 5 years younger than Daniel. Spec scripts. It's what I do. Mark I'm sort of thinking the way you are and I would only add that the reason Phyllis wouldn't of told Jack about being pregnant is because they had a huge falling out when he realized she was working for Victor so that maybe why she wouldn't have contacted him to tell him she was pregnant. We were also told that Phyllis was poor for a while in NYC when she and Adam were talking about living in the poor parts of NYC. Also if it does turn out that Ryder and Daisy are related I think that still doesn't mean she's not related to Phyllis because she could of been adopted by Ryder's mother after Phyllis gave her up. One of the reasons I don't think Sheila is Ryder's mom is because we clearly know Sheila had two daughters. Sure, they could finesse that...but it makes me wonder if the mother is someone more unexpected from the past. Diane. Leslie Brooks (could they pretend that Ryder is Brooks Prentiss?). I am vaguely intrigued, despite my better judgement.

For a while Diane was involved with Michael or had a very close relationship with him. Who ever Ryder's mother is she's someone that has issues with Lauren, Michael and Kevin.

Um, Shelia had an obsession with Lauren therefore I could see it being her. Plus, MAB seems to have an obsession herself with undoing everything that LML did... re: Phelia? Nevermind, the fact that MAB, herself doesn't mind altering Y&R's history as long as she corrects ALL of Latham's mistakes. Edited October 28, 200916 yr by Heyou
November 5, 200916 yr Member Has there been any further word on who Daisy is and who she's related to?

I'm pretty sure MAB will have it be Sheila or someone close to Sheila that's going Lauren.
