Alice In Wonderland

Briefly--I LOVED some moments, I hate to say but mainly cuz of the 3D. The stuff I knew would bug me--making it an epic quest--did. Loved both queens, and Alice. It felt emotionally hollow... I dunno. Will post more tomorrow.

Saw it last Saturday, was rather disappointed. =-/ Kept waiting for those "WOW" moments that never really came. I think they could have gone even further with the 3D, I saw greater audience reactions to the trailer for that "How to Tame a Dragon" movie. Depp (who bore a striking resemblance to Elijah Wood) was nothing to write home about, HBC was the scene stealer. I'm pretty much over Burton and his stamp on any and everything. I think the film was more impressive in stills than it was in action. The Cheshire Cat was cool though.
