A few final thoughts (which seem to have nothing to do with the awards themselves).

I thought Bob Newhart was very funny. I'm glad that droll type of comedy still has a place. I'm also happy that he and Betty White are both still entertaining people and are as sharp as ever.

"I Will Remember You" got old about ten years ago, but darned if I wasn't moved by Sarah's performance tonight. I guess it was partially because we truly did lose so many greats this year. I had forgotten about a few until they were mentioned again in the tribute.

I was so happy that my Olive Snook won! :) Go Kristen!

As for Jon Cryer.. yuck... can't stand him...

Too bad Jim Parsons lost. He is hilarious.

i really liked the show this year, and liked most of the winners but i do feel that the wrong people/shows won for a few awards...

i think How I Met Your Mother was better than 30 Rock tis past season. How did Generation Kill lose?! Proect Runway or Top Chef should have won over TAR. I would have loved to see Simon Baker win lead actor. IMHO Drew Barrymore deserved the win over Jessica L, dont get me wrong, JL was fantastic as she always is, but Drew stole the movie.
