That might have been a one off, because for a while now, Amelia's been playing every scene the same exact way in her dream state.

One of my favorite Victoria (AH) scenes. Why dont they write her more like this?

They tried to give her bitchy material, like when she went off on JT recently, and it just fell flat. She's really lazy, she was probably more inspired the day she did this scene.

This is a very unpopular opinion, but I don''t mind AH at all, in some ways I like her better than HT's version of Vicky.

I like her too, when she puts some effort into it, like in the scene Cheap21 posted above.

Thankfully, they seemed to have dropped the JT/Colleen reunion since Sursok can't stay put.

What's to say they won't just pick up where they left off when she returns?

They should have JT leave Victoria for Colleen (a lot of people still want a Jolleen reunion) and have Victoria leave town until a suitable recast is found.

How about recasting both Colleen and Victoria with good actresses and actresses who don't ask to leave every 5 minutes to shoot movies?

Right now, they should just write out Victoria, JT and Colleen. If/when they find the right actresses for Vicky and/or Colleen, then they can bring them back. Send Colleen to New York to live with her mother and send Vicky & JT to Newman in Dubai. That frees up three salaries and allows the writers to focus on the remaining cast. I would also like to see Mac leave town, too!

I think they already do have the right Colleen. They should look into recasting Mac, Heather, Tyra (if they insist on keeping the character) and possibly Victoria.

Yep, and not only that, she asks to do all of these outside projects every month, and TPTB let her. So, obviously, they can't write for the character of Colleen to its full potential when the actress clearly cares about outside projects more than she cares about the show. She's very miscast as Colleen, not a resemblance to either of her on-screen parents too.

Colleen is barely anything more than a glorified dayplayer anyway, and when they have her in an episode, her scenes are so short and throwaway. Had they had a more skilled and committed actress, Colleen's role as a member of the Newman Board could have been a better and bigger storyline. They don't care about the character and the actress would rather be elsewhere. I hope they come to their senses and recast Colleen or write her off for a few years.

Let Tammin Sursok be free to do her outside projects and roles where she isn't miscast.

I like Ameila Heinle, and i dont want her to be recast, i did not like Heather Tom. I also like Tammin Sursok.

IMO they are both core characters especially Victoria i guess, but the writers do not want to write for them.

It is obvious that the writers like writing for the quad/kevin/jana/amber/chloe then other characters, it is the same old characters do the same old thing and it gets boring and VERY tiring. I want these writers to be fired, the storylines are pathetic at the moment and too much cheating/sadness/craziness etc.

I enjoyed the writing 2004, before, and these writers should come back. The ones that brought in the romance, and wrote for everyone, there was no unbalance.

Per my post that you quoted at the top of this thread, you seemed to have missed the key word in my post. However, after reading spoilers of

JT/Victoria having trouble in paradise you could be getting your wish of a reunion for Jolleen.

I still think that a recast of Colleen AND Victoria is necessary.

Perhaps there's a reason they don't write for the character of Colleen and allow her to do outside projects. She's been there nearly two years and she still doesn't have the episode counts that Adrianne Leon had in her short time on the show. I know that you are a big supporter of Sursok's but she hasn't shown this viewer YET those acting chops that you claim she has. Yes, even I can admit that she did better, in a few scenes, during the scene where she and JT found the body but nothing noteworthy.

I read somewhere the other day, and I can't remember where but it was a piece from Australia on her and they claimed she's only doing Y&R and these various outside "films" so that she can say that she's made it "big" in the states. I'll try and find the article since I'm sure you'll want to read it as proof it exists.
