I think she's integral to the Patty Jane story in her capacity as ADA as well as being the only OTHER female Williams currently on the show. This could open up a big s/l for her in the eventual prosecution of Patty and tension between her father Paul. Those beats would be sorely missed if Vail weren't there.

If they have no definite plans for her, then she should be written out. She's not needed and contributes nothing to the show with her limited airtime.

I'd also love some scenes with Nikki and Heather. See what the relationship between Heather and Nikki is and how she feels about Paul's wedding (that won't happen). I think MTS could be a great matriarch for the Williams' and connect the clan to the Newmans. Paul's going to go ape when he finds out what Victor did to his sister and Nikki would be the PREFECT person to call Victor out on his BS.
