^^ I agree they can add more layers to Carly now. Crystal was good on Days but I think she really honed her craft and became such a better actress during her 10 years at GL. She can play both comedy and bitchiness to the hilt and I hope they add some of that to Carly.

My only concern is that Days do this return right. They botched the Steve/Kayla return so I hope they do much better this time. I am quite surprised CC signed without getting any idea of the story.

I love her, so normally I'd think it's a coup and be interested if anyone other than Dena Higley wrote this show.

More likely, she will be in a failed triangle with Bope, then spend nine months propping her kid in a story with Melanie and Stephanie until she gets the Steve and Kayla exit - "oh, they're just offscreen."

Damn! I have absolutely no interest in DAYS as it currently is, so I don't know how I feel about this. I've always loved her on GL, especially now and was excited to see what would happen with her. I've tried watching currentDAYS, but I'm not fond of the characters they feature (especially those teens/twentysomethings!) or Dena Higley's writing. I think she's better than what the show currently offers. OTOH, the show has been doing well in the ratings so it could be a stable move for her.

I don't watch DOOL, but good for her. I figured she and GT would be the first two snatched up. I know a lot of people that really liked her character so that's good (I love CC but I'm not familiar with DOOL and don't have enough time to pick up another soap).

I honestly think we would of heard something about it moving elsewhere by now. She said in the article that they finish shooting in early August, which means scripts have to be written fairly soon for that time period.

Yeah from what I've heard they already have the ending for GL mapped out and are wrapping the stories up. I'm sure they have a plan to continue the stories in case it does get picked up but it sounds like it is less and less likely that will be happening, especially now that two big actresses are leaving.

I'm so happy for you, Toups. Just a year ago many wrote DAYS off but lately I'm thinking they may just be one of the few soaps in years to have a strong comeback.

Crystal's one of the sexiest women ever on soaps, it's so hard to describe, she just has that charisma and confidence, and she's so exotic, and her voice...you could go on and on.

I think they're gonna bring back Nicholas too, but he'll be de-aged a bit and be put in the Philip/Steph group. Instead of casting Wes Ramsey in such a minor role, he could've been casted an Nicholas.

I agree with you about Tom, and he wouldn't have the same luck on DOOL he did on GL (GL made the show all about him). I'm surprised he hasn't been hired for something by now with the hype he gets.

Definitely PR, I think Chappell is the only woman he's had chemistry with outside of Alfonso. RKK and CC didn't really have the same spark she had with PR, which is why I think they well fully ahead with Bo and Billie.

Most people say with PR's Bo. I only saw her with RKK's Bo and thought they were good - maybe it's because I like both CC and RKK. But I only saw them in scenes together for a short period of time (because CC left the show).
