He didn't rape, stalk, murder, or kidnap anyone. If Engen wanted a character with morals, he shouldn't have joined a soap opera. They didn't hire him to write his character, and he isn't Eric Braeden to have any clout in his storylines. Who the hell does he think he is? Isn't that the kind of stuff that actors dream of? Most people would kill to play a character with so many facets and shadows. Did he honestly expect to fill the shoes of a soap opera character without having to act some unsavory things at some point? If it bothers him that much, he's really in the wrong business -- and like I said in another thread, if he still insists on being an actor, he should probably stick to auditioning for shows on the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon. I believe his co-stars from Y&R said that half of them would kill to get such a juicy storyline, so they don't get why he was so against it.
