Plausibility? We left that behind the minute this story started. There is absolutely no way any of this will be plausible. The age difference between Thom and Daniel alone screws it all up. I could accept a DESORASed Philip III, but now with Thom on the scene how do you explain that the man who was supposed to be Philip III is marrying Lily Was she even born when he was killed? There are so many holes in this story and it hasn't even started. The only way I can accept it is to just check all logic at the door.

Really, I'm 44. I'm not sure my heart could take it.

I'd have to carefully read the previews and carefully try to skip each episode that b!tch is in. But then I'd have to actually watch, and fastforward her scenes with that throaty voice.

And then, she'd have scenes with characters I'd like, and I'd have to watch her...and probably hear her sing.

As it was from 2000-2005 (gasp!), I'd go a little more insane each day.

If I never hear the Girl from Ipanema again, it will be too soon.

The actress is great; but just the idea of another doppelganger is tiresome at the moment.

Daniel Goddard was born in 1971. (Phillip 3 was born in 1976).

It says Thom Bierdz was born in 1962, but that seems like bullsh!t. Though, I was born in 1965, and Phillip was AROUND my age (a little younger, actually) when he was on the show. So, as Bierdz said in his latest interview, he was playing about 10 years younger.

And he still looks fiiiiiiiiine.

So, I don't really think there is any implausibility in Bierdz and Goddard playing the same age.

Goddard always was robbing the cradle when he took up with child-bride Lily.

And if P3 ends up taking up with child-bride Rafe, it will be birds of a feather...

No. "Colleen's" BIG STORYLINE was announced after Brad's death.

Really, there needs to be a 10-year moratorium on doppelgangers, major deaths, and back-from-the-dead. That means Rowell won't be back until 2019, but I can deal with it.

Her powerful confrontation storyline with Victor Newman, of course!

I can't; the rules can be broken just for Rowell. I wouldn't doubt it for a second.

In which she crushed Victor Newman like a bug; using her mighty brain, of course.

I agree to a point. More because I don't think Kevin should be married. They need to stop marrying all these people in the late 20's crowd ASAP. Having them tied down isn't very interesting. That said, I thought their make out scenes in the elevator were good. I'd like to see a little more of that.

Maybe Colleen's "big story" was showing up at Lily's wedding and then ditching it real fast. Always a bridesmaid, that Colleen. Mac, Chloe, now Lily.

Dru's body was never found! She's been kidnapped by Somali pirates and they have her locked away in a castle in the middle of the Sahara!!!

DG and TB can easily play the same age.

Yeah, but when you have the original actor on the scene I think it really hits home for long term viewers. Now it is going to really hit home that a girl who still looks (and acts) like a teenager has married Cricket's high school BF. A man who is in his 40's. Worse things have been done on soaps, but it just strikes me as incredibly skevy.

IA - Kevin and Jana getting married never worked for me. Their makeout scene was cool - loved EO's face as the elevator door was closing.

ETA: I also think that younger characters need to get more power in GC.

At least with her storyline it's easier to believe it with the whole "the body was never found." Death-bed scenes are much harder to explain.

It was stupid. Plus, someone needs to start playing Lily in a way that fits the history of the character.

i wonder if all this cost-cutting is to make way for VR. Any updates on MTS? That story blew up and was gone.

No news on MTS yet.

I doubt they're saving for VR. I don't think money was the problem there.

Interesting that Kevin was the passive one. I WISH they'd show more of this couple's sex life. 'Cause I am convinced she takes the lead!
