Members Xanthe
For reference the episode originally aired December 8, 1987 and Hunter was set in Los Angeles. I found this listing for NBC Bakersfield for example that shows AW at 1 pm. https://tvlistingsarchive.blogspot.com/2024/12/fresno-fri-dec-25-1987.html?m=1

Members Contessa Donatella
And, while I am giving out accolades, Xanthe, you are also a treasure, also a damned fine researcher. And, I don't say that lightly because I happen to love research.
Members Xanthe
Thanks! I think this means that the current outstanding unconfirmed references in Eddie's list are: Biography: Ray Liotta -- presumably a straightforward mention, possibly with a clip. However I have not found the episode online. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1442729 Valerie's Home Cooking. According to Wikipedia it had 172 episodes over 14 seasons. I skimmed the list of guests on IMDB and noticed that Faith Ford was on 3 episodes. Is the most likely thing that Another World came up when Ford was on? Difficult to say and I don't see any of those episodes freely available to check. Looks like they are on Discovery+ for the Food Network.

Members Maxim
Another World - January 3, 1989 Old trauma always comes back to haunt us. It's 1989 finally and the year started with a bang! Literally with a bang! Sharlene and John found themselves in peril when the restaurant blew up in flames. John, triggered by the horrific sight of the fire... was transported back to the past. Sharlene did not manage to pull him out in time and a huge piece of wood feel over her, knocking her unconscious. In that moment, seeing her lying on the floor, John snapped out of his PTSD daze and saved her life just in time. Iris, Evan and Caroline, the three little snakes visited happy couple Sam and Amanda to congratulate them on the New Year. The poisonous trio did their best to pull them apart and seduce their interests. Iris, who confessed to Evan that Amanda's birth is the worst day of her life just prior that that scene, told her enemy... that the best thing of the past year was getting to know her little sister. Iris is sooo vile. I love her. Amanda, the gullible one... believed her. Mathew left Josie all hot and bothered when he decided to abort their make-out session, telling her that he doesn't want to do what he is about to do. Awkward! Josie's self esteem took a hit, but she was later comforted by one of her school mates. I forgot the guy's name. But it seems like there may be a love triangle for the youngsters. Yawn about that. In the end we had Sharlene being helped to her bed by Josie and Josie's school mate. Thank God she was without a broken bone, maybe just a light concussion... In the final moment we saw John who basically collapsed in front of the farmhouse. Emotionally collapsed. Overall - 9/10 Top moment - John saves Sharlene's life. Members DRW50
@j swift As you had asked for original airings that are longer than the Soapnet versions - this seems to be one. Eddie put up the Soapnet version today but this original airing from Canada has more at the start. (this is the 22nd, not the 21st) @Maxim I think you already watched all this period, so this is another from the era. Members Maxim
Thank you for thinking of me! Please register in order to view this content I have only watched 5 episodes from 1987... So this is new to me. I started my regular watching from October 1988. BTW, we are having couple of days of break from the show, since my husband has made me watch Squid Game Season 2 with him. But starting tomorrow, we'll resume our fairytale into Bay City with the January 1989 episodes.
