Ron can produce a good soap with Frons interference.

Maria has no excuse.

Indeed.

Ron knows how to come back from a lame story or how to turn seemingly lame stories around. The same cannot be said for Y&R's current writing regime.

And since both Maria and Paul Rauch have recently told Nelson that CBS doesn't interfere much with the show, that tells me what we're seeing is 100% Maria Arena Bell, Hogan Sheffer, Scott Hamner, and Paul Rauch. There is no excuse for why these people should still be employed at this show after the way things have turned out.
