As for Talia, I'm surprised you would bother defending the absolutely ridiculous OPP storyline, jinx. Outside of introducing Talia it had no redeeming value whatsoever, and audiences died laughing any time anyone used the acronym (yeah you know me!). And the fact is, Antonio and Talia was his only popular pairing in over ten years - it's not the actors' fault OLTL failed to write for them. I did like that they made her Carlo's daughter, but the character was full of potential and then wasted.

Making Talia Carlo's daughter was a mixed bag for me. On the one hand I liked it because it gave Talia a stronger tie to the show's history--but OLTL failed to do any follow-up after the horrific Mendorra story ended. On the other hand, I was disappointed that they removed Talia's Middle-Eastern ancestry. Talia was not my favorite, but I didn't hate her either. She had far more potential than Stacy, but obviously OLTL was at a loss at what to do with her.

Well, Carlo's still vaguely soap ethnic, isn't he? And we don't know Talia's mother's heritage. I chose to believe her racial makeup was still roughly the same.

I can't see her as Natalie, something about her appearance is too masculine for my taste.

Melissa Archer is awesome as Natalie. Beth Ann Bonner would be all wrong for Natalie. I do wish OLTL would've kept her or at least written off with Antonio with them getting married.

I think Beth Ann could have played Natalie. If and only if Melissa Archer vacated the role. It would have been disasterous if BAB had come in to replace MA under contentious circumstances. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
