Members JackPeyton
lol, i so get it. dont get me wrong tho, it would have been fantastic to have a cover for it. even if it was just for the people who get it in the mail.

Guest dc cubs
For those wondering why GL's cancellation didn't warrant more coverage on the SOD cover, it is on the SOW cover. I don't have the issue myself yet but you can see it on the SOD/SOW web site. SOW Cover

Members MarkH
So, we should put Eli Stone on the cover of TV Guide? A cover story about a show nobody watches? I understand what you're saying...totally, emotionally! I also think a GL cover might sell better, because this will draw out the long-term lapsed viewers--especially if (like SOW) they put Roger and Bert and Maureen etc on there. But, from a business perspective, not putting a dying soap on the cover makes too much sense. Business is seldom compassionate. The subscriber cover does honor GL... ... as you see. SOD has been doing separate subscriber/newstand covers for a while now.

Members Aaron
Based on how Roxy's acted over the last year or so, I always assumed Rex's dad was going to turn out to be Mitch Laurence, but OLTL is probably done putting up with Roscoe Born's shenanigans. Members MarkH
It's not weekly. But P&G soaps get more play on the subscriber covers. They must have market research that says Y&R sells the most newsstand copies, but a larger proportion of subscribers like P&G. To my knowledge, SOW only goes with one cover. This has been happening for at least a few years.
