Members boldfan01
And Bill Bell head wrote Y&R until the mid to late 80s from Chicago. It wasn't until he and Lee were creating B&B that they moved to L.A. So the HW job is one that can be done from someplace other than the city where the show is taped. Members boldfan01
I think it was noticeable even before Kay was named co-HW. back to the time when she was interim HW during the strike. I've often wondered if the year long stretch where the fashion element was absent from the show - they went from late October, 2007 until the end of 2008 without a single fashion show or fashion related story - was Brad giving in to Kay's influence, with the more recent return of focus to the fashion world being Brad getting back to what always worked for the show. Members Y&RWorldTurner
I agree, in fact, I thought B&B was in VERY GOOD shape a few months or so before Kay joined the team.
Members Ann_SS
I have never been fan of Kay Alden. I hated Y&R under her tenure. She talks a good game, but her vision as a headwriter sucks. I blame her and Brad for the nightmare that B&B has become.
