AMC: Is Dixie really dead?

Sounds like Pratt's trying to get the Dixie fans that tuned out to watch again hoping that having a storyline of Tad investigating her death and if he "hints" that she might be alive as well, will get fans to watch the show again full-time. He's doing the same things with the Greenlee fans by dangling her possible return with this current storyline.

He's one big tease, and not in a good way.

A re-cast Dixie would be stupid. Cady McClain is Dixie IMHO and in many others as well. AMC should just wait til Cady leaves ATWT (and we all know she will eventually), if they're really gonna resurrect Dixie. Kelli Giddish(who played Di) would've been a good Dixie and I was starting to accept her as Dixie, when it was revealed she was faking being Dixie and that real Dixie was alive and Di's half-sister. With Pratt's choice of Jamie Luner (whom I loved on MP as Lexie and as Peyton on SAVANNAH) as Liza (when she'd been a much, much better Skye), he'll probably cast Josie Bissett(ex-Jane, MP) as Dixie.

But what is the whole point? Cady signed for ATWT (although I heard it was only for a small time, 4 months)...I don't want recast Dixie. <_<

Cady keeps bouncing back between the two shows. She has to go back to ATWT before she comes to AMC since thats her pattern
