Soap acting is also much harder than any other medium, 40 pages of dialogue a day. When those who do it well, bring it, they are better than anyone.

Thank you Dan and Zoe!

Y&R is a soap and that is it you cant expect much from soap actresses and actors anyway when comparing them to the wider bigger Hollywood industry. As no one would know them its only known to daytime viewers.
Wow! There just are no words for how stupid this sounds! Just wow!

Eileen is beautiful, and I'm glad she's back.

BUT, I am hating Ashley with the full passion of my being. What a selfish user. Years ago, she let Brad be Abby's father. NOT Victor.

Now, Victor is horning in, and Ashley encourages it. Brad is ABSOLUTELY being pushed to the side, and Ashley is unapologetic. That is simply wrong. I realize this board is filled with Brad haters, but the basic meanness of how Brad is being handled is really quite upsetting to me. Why would such a good father (and he HAS been?) be so rudely cast aside? Just because Ashley is finally with her "true love".

This makes Ashley seem so much like Brooke Logan I want to spit. This is NOT a good development, IMO, for the long-term health of the Ashley character.

Given that Brad won't be around long

, they should write Ashley as very supportive of him. That way,

when he dies,

she will come off as sympathetic and having done the right thing. THEN it makes sense that Victor gently moves into the father role...and everyone would accept it.

I agree. I love Ash, am thrilled she's back, but I could not believe how flippant and uncaring she was to Brad. He deserves better as he is Abby's father in every single way that counts. Who was it that pointed out that Abby may be Victor's favorite now that Adam is in the doghouse (literally!), but what would happen to her in a few month's when she's do something to piss him off and he would send her new horse to the glue factory in revenge?

Brad is being shat on from a great height by everybody. I hated him during his LML era but he had definitely improved under MAB's pen. And I still want Shard!

I think Tammin is a good actress, she just doesn't have much to do, she is perfectly fine after all Y&R is a soap and that is it you cant expect much from soap actresses and actors anyway when comparing them to the wider bigger Hollywood industry. As no one would know them its only known to daytime viewers.

And talent is measured on how many people know who you are?

Of course.

Thank you Dan and Zoe!

yeah, thanks. That saved me a post. I'm still trying to pick my bottom lip off the floor.

Loved, loved, loved Brad setting Phyllis up with that call to Nick.

And the scary thing is, most non-soap watchers actually believe it.
