I agree and disagree. I agree b/c white actors have been playing latin, asian, light-skinned black, et cetera forever, so it's only fair that actors of other ethnicities get to cross color lines. BUT I disagree, b/c this is a larger problem for blacks in the industry. TV doesn't want to put brown/dark brown-skinned women on TV. They'd rather put a lighter, or mixed-looking girl on their shows. Look at the daughter on that show My Wife and Kids, how the replaced the darker girl for the lighter, "prettier" one. Actually, I'd buy either of those girls as Lily. Bt anyway, the Nia Longs and Amelia Marshalls are few and far between.
