Yeah, Ari is amazing. She really has grown as an actress.

I really hope there's going to be more to this storyline or else Nicole becoming pregnant will be waste. When Nicole and Sami got pregnant I thought there was going to be some sinister plot. If Nicole just admits to EJ she lost the baby and that's it........ <_<

Well, Toups, here is what I think will happen: Sami will give up her baby to the orphanage and Nicole will adopt it and pass it off as hers and EJ's and neither she nor Sami will know it is really EJ's and Sami's baby - at least for a while. That is what I think they are setting up.

Hmm....that's not bad. It sets up a secret that will be exposed down the line. They just need a add a few more layers and this could actually be a good storyline. But of course I expect Dena to badly execute it though. <_<

I've gotten to the point where i'm just going to fast-forward John and Marlena's scenes for the time being..I just can't stand them now...but i really enjoyed the rest of the show..Ari Zucker was amazing today, one of her alltime best performances...I teared up a few times..And also Eric Martsolf is doing a great job as well...I really liked the cliffhanger ending with EJ calling Nicole..The split screen was a nice touch..

And i absolutely love the Chelsea and Melanie rivalry..I think they've both met their match..

No official spoilers here, but I do write out a few of my guesses as to what may happen in this post:

I agree. It has the potential of Days circa 1996-1997. Days needs a long, drawn-out story like this that builds interest, much like Kristen/John/Marlena/Susan back in the day. And it's an umbrella story involving so many characters, with each of them being in on their own part of the secret. Brady knows that Nicole lost the baby. Lucas and Chloe know that Sami is pregnant. Others will slowly be clued in some way or another (I could see someone like Melanie stumbling upon the truth and blackmailing Nicole, kind of like Vivian did with Kristen). And EJ is in the dark, which makes sense given his own convoluted birth.

Now, whether the story can be executed properly is something else. JER knew how to slowly build and sell a story like this over the course of a year or more. DH seems more comfortable (capable?) with 2-3 month story arcs. This story should last *atleast* 6 months, probably a year, because there are so many beats to play out (Nicole faking the rest of the pregnancy, Nicole unknowingly getting Sami's baby, Nicole finding out that Sami is that baby's mother, etc.). If told properly, and assuming that this is the story that they are planning (again, I am spoiler-free, so I know nothing, just guessing) this is precisely what Days needs in order to boost ratings: a long-range, emotional story involving 6-8 main characters that builds suspense and tension over many months.

Keeping my fingers crossed, but not getting my hopes up...

    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!
