They're departure adds to the "depression." Dena Higley has been writing for almost a year now and she's had ZERO good stories. There's not a story where I'm gonna go, years from now, "That was an amazing story. I think I'm going to go rewatch that storyline." I have no faith that we're going to get better stories as long as she's head writer.

If the show was outstanding, the blow would be a little softer.

AHH I have to agree with you here. I'm not invested in any storyline right now. The whole show is somewhat blah. J & M at the very least have lots of story potential, but I guess with a decimated family (Belle gone, Sami far away) they no longer have any dramatic value and to have John languishing in this "altered" state.. Oh but wait! We don't really see too much of them. oh I guess I won't really miss them.

If they keep axing vets, who will I recognize or care about on this show?

Wow, days ahs been great this entire week.

As much as kate/daniel bore the hell out of me, i like the story. More the scenes actually. yesterdays scenes proved that IMHO. I am loving the Kate & Chloe scenes and Chloe bringing up her history. Kate actually somewhat liked a girl Lucas is what? OMG!

I really like Lucas and Chloe and img lad it seems like they are going to triangle Brady with Nicole and EJ. Loved the Nicole & John and EJ & Brady scenes too.

Oh, and Chloe & Daniel? Loves it.

Blake & Molly have both been really goos this week. I am loving crazy Nick and OMG they brought him killing Willow up! Way to go.

Philip & Stephanie

Maggie Horton

If this episode was suppose to make me feel sorry for Melanie, I still hate her. Blake was just amazing. I mean seeing him cling to Maggie was just heartbreaking.

I did like seeing Stephanie and Chelsea lay into Melanie. I always loved the friendship between Steph/Nick, and its great that she is by his side. Though with Chelsea its always about her.

I can't stand Chelsea and she needs to be smacked! It sure was ok when she toyed with Nick. Where does she get off by acting so self righteous? She is in no position to be throwing stones at anyone. <_< And Stephanie. Well I just simply can't stand her and never will.

I actually did feel sorry for Melanie. She didn't ask for Nick to protect her or go all psycho on her. I don't see how that was her fault.

Maggie was amazing! Proof that she really needs to be on more than she is.

Loved seeing Stefano finally!

Just watched today's episode on SoapNet.

God, the production on this show has gotten lousy. Those scenes with Melanie holding on to Bo as she's falling off the balcony were so damn cheap looking. There were points when you could actually see that she wasn't even far from the ground. And that city backdrop is damn embarrassing. LOL!

I fear how bad this show will look with all the budget cuts.

I don't like the Melanie character, she's damn annoying and Molly Burnet can't cry to save her life. I LOVED it when Chelsea told her ass off.

Blake Berris is saving this storyline, he's so underrated.

    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!
