Oh, what an amazing interview! Brava, Martha!

I have so much respect for her. I hope her plans to develop something in TV come to fruition. Just the fact that she mentioned Marland's rules made me pleased.

How I miss Martha! I try to imagine the Lily/Carly confrontation and the anguish at the construction site with her in the role and I realize how much we are missing. Come home, Martha.

Alright I will say one thing about this Martha Byrne rocks. I want to see her back in daytime quickly. IMO she would be great in a new role on OLTL. I would love to see her as a new love interest for someone but play someone totally opposite from Lily. Martha understands this business so well, she should be working behind the scenes. What a wonderful professional, a wonderful person and a wonderful actress. It is sad P&G/ATWT treated her so badly when she was such an important part of ATWT. I notice in her interview there is some bad blood between her and Goutman. OMG but I would love Martha on Y&R. Martha is was spot on about GL, fans do not want reality TV, they want escapism. She gets it big time. I heard Martha is like your next door neighbor. She knew all the cast, hairdressers, crew all by name and she would bring them cookies, gifts and such adoration for her cast and crew. Martha has such passion for daytime and I know we will see her again soon.

MB: It was great seeing her again. We’re two actresses — we get it. I have such respect for her. We’ve known each other for years. She worked on Loving back in the day. I give her a lot of credit for jumping into a huge challenge — and succeeding. That’s a testament to her ability and talent and strength. It’s not an easy job. I certainly wouldn’t want to step into the role of Marty on One Life to Live. Noelle and I respect each other. It’s not personal, because we both get it. She took a job. And they’re blessed to have her. I’m a fan.

So....I'm the only one annoyed by all of Nelson's fawning admiration?

I still don't know what to believe....but Nelson labeling the Holden/Carly affair a "hit" makes me wonder about his sanity.
