Some of us have. I tend to assume this opening was a test run for OLTL's change (I prefer the Loving version).

The Loving Murders openings were very clever - one of the best parts of the story.

Ok good - I was going to say, surely I couldn't have just uncovered this LOL )

I'm obsessed with the "Figure It Out" campaign.... what a fun mystery for viewers. But also - go do your homework!

This episode- at the 1:07 mark is like porn! Laura Wright, my goodness )

Laura Wright has raw talent and a charismatic presence that was there on day one. I really loved her as Ally and how she stood out as a heroine and not sugary sweet. I was excited when she joined GL as Cassie and even happier, at first, when she became Carly on GH. Some of Carly's humanity has been stripped over the years and she just shrieks. I'd get upset because I know what Laura Wright is capable of as an actress but the writing has improved lately. Carly's not so one-note.

I'll be binging 1995 this weekend. I've been able to find all the episodes. I'm in January, and already I'm exhausted by Dinah Lee and Trucker. I don't remember whether they were a popular couple, but a "ghost" should not have this much power over them. The writers should've just written Trisha off as leaving town, especially since she returns later in the year for the Loving murders.

Interesting that they decided to bring back Lily. But other viable past characters were forgotten.

How long was her stint? Did Lily go full psycho again?

Tues.. February 23, 1987

Helfer is glad that Lily isn't a model citizen By Marie Michaels

"Loving" model Lily Slater is the sort of soap character any up-and-coming actress would love to play. A victim of incest, Lily (then played by Jennifer Ashe) went insane and was admitted to a mental institution in 1984. But last spring Lily, now played by Britt Helfer, checked herself out against the advice of her doctors.. Alone in the world and obsessed with rekindling the love she and Jack Forbes (Perry Stevens)once shared, she set out to manipulate her way back into his life, even though he is married and the father of a young son. *"I don't see Lily as an evil, hateful or manipulative person," says Heifer, who won the role on April Fool's Day 1987. "She's so obsessed with Jack that she believes what she's doing is right. "I never play her as crazy, because she doesn't think of herself as being the least bit nuts, or she wouldn't be able to do what she's doing and still live with herself," she adds.

Prior to joining "Loving," Heifer, a native of Clearfield, Utah, appeared in B-movies and played one-time roles on such series as "Street Hawk.' She also did a stint as another incest victim - Cynthia Clayborn on the R-rated cable soap "A New Day in Eden." Heifer is pleased with how the shows writers are handling her story line and hopes they don't turn Lily into Ms. Model Citizen. "I like the fact that Lily isn't perfect," she says Heifer "I don't want her to be come sugar-coated and virtuous. In fact. I like to play Lily going off the deep end as she has done in the past past. And if she doesn't wind up with. Jack, I'd like another man to come into her life and sweep er off her feet

Helfer already found the man of her dreams-Robert Lewis, who plays Josh on Guiding Light", The couple married in 1986. and now they're househunting and thinking about adding a limb to the family tree. Before Heifer stocks up on bottles and booties, though, she'd like to spread her acting wings on Broadway, on nighttime TV and in films "I believe the best things in life will always happen to me. I'm having a ball".

I sent you a DM.

If anyone else would like to be directed to the episodes, please feel free to DM as well. I’ve been having a nightmare staying logged in but I’ll try to respond.

Most of 1995 is in tact. In fact, what I’ve been able to watch feels like a treasure trove. I honestly haven’t seen some of these episodes in almost 30 years. In hindsight, it seems so obvious that Gwen is the killer but the writers carefully thread the needle and the murders happened in relatively quick succession.

As for the other stories, Charles/ Lorraine falls flat about her keeping quiet about Bree. She didn’t tell him he was a father. So, I’m not sure where Bree and Frankie’s rage is coming from.

Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams still have that magnetic chemistry. There’s a chunk of February that’s missing which sets up the Angie and Jacob dynamic but the pull is still there. I’m glad Angie/Jesse is revisited on AMC rather Corinth ultimately.

I really wish Cooper and Steffi had been written out at the same time. I really liked their relationship and it could’ve just ended with them happily going off to Paris. Cooper being a cheater is expected but he’s so callous not to check in on her, Ally and Tyler as a serial killer is on the loose.

Tony/Steffi are cute for what they were. I liked their chemistry. It wasn’t anything groundbreaking but it was nice for what it was.

Laura Wright was always meant to be a leading lady. I’m still rooting for Ally as she goes through grief, sadness and rage. I will never buy her and Danny together.
