Y&R: Jeffrey Spumor

There is a spoiler that Gloria poisons Jeffrey's coffee, and he has convulsions because of an allergic reaction. Then I read somewhere that Jeffrey gives Jill some type of "death bed confession"? So my question is, is Y&R TRULY that stupid to let go of Ted Shackleford for a SECOND time, in favor of that disgusting character. I will be seriously pissed off if that is the case. What's next, they'll bring back Shackleford as some hillbilly cousin?!?! I don't think Y&R will ever get good again (storyline wise) until Gloria vacates the show, and when she does, I bet they will offer Judith Chapman another role.

I really don't care if Shackleford stays or goes. If Jeffrey reveals to Jill that Gloria was behind the skin cream fiasco, then I'll just accept it. It's way passed time she got exposed for that crap.

Let's hope that it leads to Gloria getting the death penalty, no matter how harsh that sentencing might be. <_<

I doubt he is leaving, because Barbara Bloom loves him.

That said, I find Jeffrey the vilest, meanest, most disgusting, horrible, awful, evil, nasty, rotten, unlikeable, heinous pig (sorry to insult pigs) ever to walk the face of daytime.

The way he treated Gloria last week. She BEGGED for a little mercy. And, WITH PLEASURE, he ground spiritual cigarettes into her eyeballs.

I am okay with (no bloodlust like others) Gloria paying for her misdeeds. I'm even cool with her going to prison, esp. if it is the unlimited phone privilege place that Jana and Phyllis hung out in.

But I cannot condone emotional violence. I cannot tolerate emotional cruely. THAT is what that heinous swine Jeffrey did to Gloria on Friday. My heart BROKE for Gloria as she broke down. NOTE that it was not her losses that made her cry...it was his AWFUL "meanness".

For that, I have (I think forever) lost all tolerance for Jeffrey Bardwell. I hate him more than David Chow (and that's sayin' something!). I want a Scott Hamner murder mystery to remove Jeff from my screen asap.

Ted Shackleford is great...I'll grant that he played the horrible Jeff with remarkable gusto...but I cannot watch that cruelty one more day. Others shut off the screen for Victor and Sabrina. For me, it is Jeff's cruelty that turns me away.

So, if he is choking and close to death soon...I shall sip a celebratory cup in honor of his suffering.

(Honestly, I'm not normally like this, but he just totally pushed my buttons on Friday. This is NOT love to hate! This is "want his character permanently expunged").

Could you please tell me how you feel about dear old Jeffery :lol:

What do you think Jeff would do if he KNEW how GloHo and her merry band treated William in his last days??? Wil and Jeff may not have gotten along but there was a reason Wil wrote that letter to him and sent him that cream. Of course TIIC have waited toooooo long to bring all of that out but still...

Glo's tears mean nothing because she is sooooo self centered. Glo and Jeff are both grifters (IMO) and they have fed off of each other rather well with Jeff winning round one. I would not for a nano-second count Glo out. She will be back.

IMO, Gloria got exactly what she deserved.

Maybe if she hadn't spent her time lying, backstabbing and cheating people she wouldn't have gone through that. He is vile, believe me. But I can't ahve any sympathy for her for all the crap she's done......

And the fact that she still has yet to be exposed for the SC fiasco.

Every man that Gloria has been with on this show, at one point ended up in a hospital. It's a golden rule.

LOL. I know Gloria is not beloved.

And, I should clarify...if she ended up penniless, destitute, arrested, in prison...I could tolerate all this. NOT because I totally agree that she deserves it, or because I want to see it...but because I know there is a HUGE fan contingent that can't stand the injustice. I get that.

What I am specifically objecting to is Jeffrey's emotional violence. And THAT, quite honestly, I feel is appropriate for no man or woman. He was SO mean. I had no problem with his taking her money and so forth (although I do not think he should end up with John's $$)...but when she BEGGED for more, he should gently have said, "I'm sorry Gloria, but I can't and I won't. I see this as a kind of justice for you, and I'm not going to retreat from this. But, because I care for you, I'm sorry that it is causing you pain." If he had said that, I would be 100% saying 'go Jeff'.

I don't agree---I think most fans love to hate Gloria and don't necessarily want her to go any where.

Remember Jeff like Glo is susposed to be a villian. Now speaking of apologizing---good old Jeff offered Glo the same apology that she gave William---NONE!! so I guess that old adage--"what's good for the goose...." is appropriate.

It would only take a vile, ruthless grifter to deny another vile, ruthless grifter her pot of gold. Everyone was way too nice to Gloria because they underestimated her. But Jeffrey didn't because they are the same.

I like Judith but Gloria has to pay. I don't see why the writers are prolonging this. They sped everything else up for goodness sakes.

Speaking of David Chow, yet another serial grifter to these two, reveals how the writers have been truly lazy the past year. How unfortunate to fill the Y&R palette with such mundane repetition. They could've at least created three separate characters based on something more interesting.

she is the beast that ate Y&R, cannot stand her <_<

HS needs to get rid of Gloria

See, I think that is where we do see this differently.

This week, it took Jill to tell her that SHE was the last Abbott at Jabot, not Gloria. And.....if Gloria hadn't had been married twice after John had died, maybe she would get the benifit of the doubt.

But, I just can't give that to her. She caused that whole SC fiasco and then had the gall to blame Jack for sending out the sampler products early.......not herself for tainting the SC in the first place. This is before and after she has used both her sons (with their permission) to get her out of whatever trouble she gets herself into, and the fact that she tried to steal William from Jill just because she felt Jill didn't deserve to have him......remember, though. This was once again after the great love of her life, John, had died.

I can't have any sadness for her at all. She needs to not just be down and completely out, but for me to turn the corner on her, she has to sit her tail in prison and really take responsibility for the truly vile stuff she has done. She fails to do that......it's always someone else's fault.

The lack of these two things happening is one of the major reason why Istopped watching Y&R under LML. She love Gloria and propped her up at the expense of the entire Abbott family.....

And that's just not right. :)
