I loved Leo as well. Maybe I am asking for too much and being selfish if I want Josh Duhamel to ditch Hollywood opportunities and return to AMC

bcak when I *HATED* AMC!. I think this was the first official month that I completely dropped AMC and didnt start watching regularly till about June/July of 2003

July/2003 was when McTavish returned and gave the show a shot in the arm and it went into great storytelling for the rest of 2003

which is why I returned. The show was finally back on track, but too bad she more than fizzled out towards the end. Its hard to beleive that the same writer that was writing in 2003 was responsible for the crapfest which was 2006

Leo's death about killed me, I bawled for weeks

That was probably the most memorable moment for me...the death scenes were well written.

Maria's return story was good until December/2002

Maria's story was horrible from the getgo. I tried to watch when she returned but had to shut the tv off bc that mess was crap. Their biggest mistake was not returning Eva La Rue as Maria. She played that horrendous Maureen Gorman for a year. I could not stand her and it ruined Maria's return for me. Not to mention, they further destroyed Brooke and she didnt really recover from that. Then they went and threw David and Aidan into the mix and it was one big clusterf-ck. This was the first in a long line of botched returns which was further done with Julia and Dixie

Oh and wasnt this the year of Liza's brain tumor? I hated that mess too.

They dragged the hell out of the Proteus storyline. It got even worse after they revealed Vanessa to be the culprit. The Frankie murder story was bad and conveniently bringing on her twin sister was a mistake for me.
