I love this man!

ITA with everything he said.

One of the most popular too. Everyone knows who Stefano Dimera is!

Yeah, the return of Stefano could've been a lot better. I can't believe NBC/Corday told Hogan to stretch out Santo/Colleen. I also wish we got more Marlena/STefano and Stefano/John scenes.

There's was so much potential with this! Of course Higley doesn't have the capability to come up with anything interesting. The sad thing is she was given this brilliant storyline and she dosen't do anything about it.

Trust? Trust, Ken Corday? Corday's a liar! Damn Corday for treating Joe like sh!t.

It seemed like a gimmick return. They brought him back with really no story or purpose. I never really enjoyed the story about the origins of the family feud and the Irish story. The only good thing about the John connection is that it is making for a good story now. Stefano is a great character, but the problems with his return go back to the very beginning. They brought him back to say lookee lookee who is back and there never really was much of a story.

I truly think he sat down with Hogan and they talked about what his return would be like. JM does not strike me as the type who would come back to Days blind after how he was treated the last time. And then, when the majority of Hogan's stuff didn't make it to the screen, and KC and NBC kept sticking theri damn noses in everything, it all got f-ed up.

Now, what KC has done to him is just foul. I can smell it here. I'm glad JM blasted his ass in the mag. He deserves it.

I would love to hear the bullshit excuse Corday will ave for this one. No doubt he'll blame it on Hogan completely.

Jackass.

Yeah, you are probably right about JM. I had not thought about that. He had been away from the show and it seems like he was on B&B at the time too. He probably would not have come back without some discussions about the story. I had not watched DOOL for a very long time and started watching again when I heard Steve and Kayla were returning. It seemed like HS was all over the place as a writer for a long while. I do think that some of his best stuff was right before Corday fired him.

Anyway, I doubt JM would have blasted Ken Corday if Corday didn't deserve it. I like it when screwed over actors point the finger at the guilty party.

    • I think Dani cares about her sister, but I agree with you. She's using this whole mess to be heard and make herself feel better. I wish Ted and Eva told her to fck off. I had to laugh when Dani commented on her and Anita confronting Ted. She acted as if they destroyed him. That's not what I saw. Dani has been dialed back from those first weeks, but I can't say she's likable. As long as she's throwing shade at Eva for her work as a hairstylist -- while ignoring that she did nothing except eat celery sticks and walk the runway -- she can kiss off. Barely tolerable, and Lindstrom is terrible in the role. I don't find him scary at all, and his money laundering plan is stupid as hell. I gagged when he texted Vanessa to ask if she was thinking about him. That's throw up time.   I just don't see how that makes Ashley any more interesting. And are we really asking for another storyline where a father connects with his adult daughter? I know there's no direct parallel to Eva's story, but come on. If you're in the minority, I'll join you. I have zero interest in any of that. -- I still fail to see Nicole and Vanessa as best friends. Nicole is grounded and stable and responsible, and Vanessa is not. It made more sense to have Dani and Vanessa being close. -- Ashley and Derek were actually OK today. I feel sorry for the actors, honestly, because they've been given nothing. It's crazy, because so much of the rest of the show is firing on all cylinders.
    • Same. But given how the writers like to have her have good moments and bad moments...and Dani has been background as of late...it's about time she had some bad moments.
    • I don’t even know why you responded to the bait.
    • I only watch for Sharon and she’s barely on. The only good thing going at the moment is Jack and Diane scenes and they’ve made Diane such a wuss lately which is making that unbearable to watch too
    • I feel like Earl Hamner and his crew brought in Richard* BECAUSE they knew almost right away that Robert Foxworth was so dull as Chase.  At any event, Richard, IMO, proved to be much more interesting as Angela's chief adversary. (*Or brought him back, depending on whether we're including the original "Vintage Years" pilot).
    • And it will also eventually air S2, which will air its finale in Canada this Thursday, May 15th! https://tvline.com/news/law-and-order-toronto-criminal-intent-season-1-2-the-cw-1235449356/ As an American that has managed to watch it in real time, it's very good. Frankly, I think it's the best of the L&O franchise as of now.
    • You are getting like me. It's getting to the point that without any Damian sightings...it's been the fashion that is holding my interest. And it should not be that way at all.
    • I don't mind Jan either. If anything, they could be using her more to get her daughter's POV. Not to mention her role as one of the Have-Nots.    I also don't mind the local talent. Just look at soaps that were in NY or the shows that film there, they always go for the local talent and we get to find new faves.
    • I'm not going to watch (because...well...that M-dude...lol) but knowing the history between Henry and Roger, I could see Henry wanting to enable Hart to stay independent of Roger. I could even see it as Henry having the last laugh at Roger. Roger hated "the Henry's" of the world, which basically meant anyone who had money and social prominence. Twice Roger swindled Henry out of a chunk of his fortune, so giving some to Hart, who hates his father, is a form of karma.
