Just got a letter in the mail and I have been chosen to be part of the Nielsen Family. I had gotten a call from them eariler in the week. Now I will part of the Nielsen family. My voice will be heard!!

I think you secretly, subconsciously adore Passanante and Goutman's ATWT. You're afraid to admit it.

Ewwwwwww.....You know Goutman is writing and producing the show. Pissant is just there in name only. She might have been demoted long time ago. But appears as HW for appearances.

It might be that over all these years (how long have you been watching - 25? 30 years? ) you've come to love this show that no matter who is writing it, you'll still think it's acceptable.

I've been watching for almost 30 years now. And nope to your second question. I hated Jessica Klein's reign as HW. Black and Stern were awful too. I wasnt that thrilled with Lorraine Broderick's time. Some of it was good but some bad. Jean Pissant...not a fan...LOL. So I do watch out of loyatly I guess.

Explain that to me. How can you survive the endless amount of cr*p thrown in your face? 'Cause I'm really starting to lose my patience with a lot of shows a lot more quickly. And I'm afraid that if I tune out, I won't be tuning in again.

Well, I started watching soaps at the age of 8. I got hooked on the CBS soaps(Y&R, ATWT, SFT, Capitol, B&B, and GL). I didnt really like Capitol but it came after ATWT and before GL so I watched it. Y&R and GL were favorites of mine. At one point I couldnt decide which soap I loved more...ATWT, GL or Y&R? That was in the 80's. But overall I am the biggest ATWT fan you will ever see. It won out. Dont ask me why. I guess it is because I enjoyed the characters more at ATWT. But all in all I am a CBS fan....although I dont see the other shows anymore. I lost my patience with Y&R and GL. GL hasnt been viewing material in a long time. B&B I just dont record. I will probably pick it up back this summer. I dont know about Y&R but I am done with GL. Too bad because GL use to be one of my favorites.
