They all look beautiful. I've hoped to get Laura Leighton on daytime for aeons but I assume with Doug Savant she doesn't need to work.

I had no idea Grant Show was now married to the incredible Katherine LaNasa from The Pitt (previous husbands: Dennis Hopper and French Stewart!).

It is interesting that they're still out there pushing the reboot idea which I just assumed was dead. I know the One Tree Hill reboot pretty much seemed to have died a death amid cast squabbles.

I'm glad to see they included Vanessa E. Williams. MP retrospectives tend to hand-wave the pre-Locklear era away, IMO.

Samesies! Although I'm surprised Marcia Cross wasn't included (maybe she declined or wasn't available), I was delightfully surprised to see good ol' Rhonda back in the mix.

The all female aka Femni-Nazi reunion thing was fun, though part of the appeal of the original show were the females in distress and how they either overcame the obstacles or how they gave into the obstacles.

If Melrose Place were to return, it would be all girl boss with little to no dimension.

How is an all female reunion 'feminazi?'

Seriously. Outside of Michael and Peter, most males where just eye-candy. It was definitively a female-skewing show and they knew it.

Like, relationships like Alison / Amanda and Sydney / Jane were always more interesting than the ones they had with those pesky males lounging around shirtless.

Jake was the only one with an actual point of view.

Same. If the show had decided to reboot Rhonda’s character as they did the others, the show could’ve been more interesting and more diverse. But it fell off a cliff after Kimberly blew up the building. I always stop my binges after the Jack Parezzi/ Brooke dying. I’m not bothering with what comes after a second time.

This. The women of the show have never gone out of their way to be negative about the show or their co stars.

If anything, the MP cast members (both male and female) have been more positive about their time on the show than their counterparts over at 90210, who always give off a "Gawd, I'm so sick and tired of talking about that stupid show" air, IMO.

It seems like a lot of Aaron Spelling's shows - MP, DYNASTY, SAVANNAH, "Charmed" - hit that so-called point of no return, where everything gets so absurd that it chases away everyone except the die-hard fans who will go down with the show, if necessary. ("Models, Inc." might've gone that route, too, but they got cancelled just before Hooker Hell, lol).

All cast members, those from the early years to those from the later years, seem to be on very friendly terms. I've yet to hear that any of them do not get along aside from the occasional guest star like Antonio Sabato Jr supposedly not getting along with Heather. It's very refreshing to see as it allows them to focus on the show whenever they get together, even if it's very often the same things (wedding dress catfight, Kimberly blowing up the building). That it now seems they're taking Vanessa along to these reunions has actually refreshed these talks a bit as they've gotten less stale.

I think the worst thing I've heard is that Thomas Calabro was a bit up his ass in the early days and made a comment about Heather being a "soap opera actress". Per Heather herself she quickly shut him up by saying "well, so are you" and that was that.

90210s cast seem to be constant drama central still and they're all now in their 50s and 60s. Apparently Jennie for some reason has a beef with Tori or vice versa. BAG seemed to not-so-subtly shade Jennie when he visited Tori's latest podcast, lol.

You'd think that losing Luke Perry AND Shannen Doherty would make them all take greater stock of their lives and realize that life is just too damn short to let petty bullshit get in the way of things, but whatever, lol.

And I could see Thomas Calabro copping a bit of an attitude. He's always struck me as someone who considers himself a "serious actor." Never mind that the only thing outside of MP that people still remember him for is that TV movie where he went undercover as a male stripper.
