For some it works, Daytime Fan, but not on GH....At AMC, both Jill Larson (Opal) and David Rasche (Robert) are on recurring but Robert is on as much as a contract player while Opal is getting a decent amount of screen time.

It depends on what character you are mostly. Stephen Macht, Seamus Dever and Yeniffer Behrens have a lot of airtime and even Drew Cheetwood, who most weeks only qualifies as an underfive are used regularly.
