The ONLY reason KWAK is part of this is because the Careys(much like the Lavery's) have to be part of everything. Ugh.

I don't care what KWAK did for them, I still hate her.

During the whole Crash storyline and the aftermath, which was essentially a Zack/Kendall story and partly a Greenlee redemption story, the ratings hit 1.9. OK, maybe it's me, but I don't get them. There seems to be no reason for them to be together and were probably the result of Megan's "let's throw some [!@#$%^&*] against the wall and see what sticks" method of writing. Also, acting-wise, there seems to be a wide divide. Kaye is pretty good, but I still find Alicia very amateurish at times. His acting usually seems effortless. With her, you can see that she's acting. Whatever, they bore me to tears.

^ Hardly given the fact that McTavish hated them, and had a hard on for Rendull.

Crash started out as a Zendall story, and got good ratings in the beginning, but much like the end of the Satin Slayer story got highjacked by Ryan, Crash became all about who else? Oh yeah GREENLEE

I like Bobbie Eakes, I just hate KWAK & Babe with a burning passion ;)

Exactly how is Krystal involved in everything? That may have been true back in 2004 but this is 2008. Krystal hasnt had much to in a long time and is very much a supporting player. She isnt overexposed and is relegated to being a prop for what goes on in her husband and daughter's lives.

Ditto for Babe who also is no longer overexposed being placed in every story while being hte center of the show. When we see her, she's either working and mingling at Fusion or she's involved in her triangle with JR and Ritchie which the show has dropped the ball on. The "Carey women are a part of everything" argument got old over a year ago when it was actual valid

She's a supporting player, then why does she need to be involved in this storyline at all? It's bad enough they rewrote Tad & Jesse's history, but KWAK wasn't needed in this story.

I agree, Angie. There was no need for Krystal to be in the Jesse/Angie story but Frons loves her so she will be in something somehow

I also disliked how McTavish salivated over Rendall when she destroyed Ryan by making him abusive, holier than thou, pontificating, sanctimonious, and idiotic to Kendall...not the Rendall I remember from 2002

thats exactly what a supporting player does. She is SUPPORTING her husband. He's heavily involved in this plot and as his partner, she's been taken along for the ride in a small capacity and not smack in the middle of it. She's been a sounding board for Angie and a vessel for viewers to hear about the history of Jesse/Angie through Angie's words to her. Theres no way they could do a story with Tad and not include his wife. They are one now and what happens with one affects the other. Married people are in the same storylines; its as simple as that.

ICAM!!!

Zzzendull need to break up for AMC to become completely watchable again. They're far from being a supercouple.

Ryan/Greenlee and Aiden/Annie were ff material. Annie throwing herself at Aiden when she supposedly loves her husband makes me hold out hope that she's crazier than her brother. At least she was interesting to watch when she seemed crazy last summer.

Greg Nelson has been completely forgotten during Jesse & Angie's return, as has her mother, Pat. It would be refreshing to see them both again even if just briefly.

Erica's storyline is currently the most entertaining one. It's nice to see her in a story that doesn't revolve around her daughters, imo.

That is what I have noticed as well, Steve...I was expecting Angie to contact Greg some day to tell her the good news about Jesse. The writers have included mentions of other characters (Jamie, Zoe, I think Jake) so why not Greg?

ITA with Cheap...

Plus Angie needs a woman her age that can support her and be a sounding board during the entire storyline. Too bad Brooke or Dixie or someone else her age isn't on the canvas...But Krystal was totally needed and warranted in that supporting role...especially since Tad got involved and Krystal/Jenny were put in 'danger'. All makes sense to me!

It also never hurts when you get a female friendship on this show :)

Damn it is almost 5 a.m. here...I am watching Jesse/Angie right now so it is worth it to stay up this late-or early! :)

I think it would be great to bring Greg back. I've been waiting for Alfred Vanderpool to burst into a scene and make a big deal over Jesse being back from the dead. He was in high school with all of them back in the day and they've brought him back a time or two.

    • That was the best part of Tuesday's episode.  Martin and Smitty and their family are boring.
    • Crew Morrow's acting on Tuesday's episode was just dreadful. The weird faces he was making were just awful
    • Creatively, he probably should have stayed with The Doctors, where he stood out as an antihero lead. Not sure what happened with GH. He didn't have the same impact. Was it bad writing, not clicking with co-stars? Didn't they gave him a boat load of money to join GH in 1976? Was Mark Dante just a toned-down version of Nick Bellini? Were they basically the same character?
    • All I can think of is if a lot of big names were leaving around that time she wanted him back as a stopgap, although I have never seen any real evidence that he was popular with GH viewers.
    • I loved watching Shanice hand Leslie her ass and finally shutting her up. It was so good. I also love Martin & Smitty's family.  Anita has to have some sort of plan giving Leslie the tickets to mail for Winterfest. She has to be setting her up for a fall. It's pretty obvious to me Vernon is not cheating with Sharon. I think Sharon is helping him with his terrible singing voice for Winterfest. I still believe Bill & Dani are endgame but I love Dani & Andre too. I am definitely enjoying this story. And making Hayley a black widow is a nice twist.
    • Sorry for the spam. Wasn't sure where to put this, it's from Tony Geary's husband's IG. Tony watching Genie and Maurice on Mo's show.
    • This show is really trundling along BTW. When is someone going to show up to slit Beastmaster's throat or crack the whip on metrosexual Sidwell? (BTW, openly presenting this cheery bon vivant as casually bisexual would at least be something vaguely diverting.) At least kill Brennan by year's end. I'm bored.
    • She told Vanessa to "DOUBLE her offer" on the Jarvis house.  The Jarvis family accepted the doubled price.  Assuming the house has an appraised value of $2,000,000, she's theoretically paid the Jarvis family $4,000,000 for the house.  The bank would loan Leslie 80% of the appraised value ($1,600,000), and Leslie had to pay the balance with cash at closing --- $2,200,000.  She only had ONE million.  Where the hell did she get the rest?!  And now she's got contractors working on the house all day & half the night.  Who's paying THEM?  I keep thinking all this will crash around her.  Either that or the writers have absolutely no idea the limits of a million dollars.  Sounds like a "lot of money", but it obviously ain't when we look at Leslie's spending since she got that million dollar check in August.

    • Vernon is an idiot. Why would he have Sharon in the same hotel that Leslie is staying at?
