Wesley Ramsey is returning as Sam Spencer. His agent Michael Bruno says Ramsey is open to the possibility of staying longer.

I always thought that Olivia's brother needed to come back to Springfield, but I'm afraid that once Sam comes back to Springfield, all of the women will be on him like a bunch of female dogs in heat.

Oh this is great news and I liked Wesley's Sam. This would be good for Lizzie, Marina, and Ava which will make Bill a bit jealous.

A casting rumor over at the Daytime Confidential website that Scott Bryne (ex-Craig, ATWT) could be Philip Spaulding for GL. This could be good but if you asked me, I'd cast Matthew Ashford (ex-Jack, DAYS) for the role of Philip.

I've always liked him, and it's good that Olivia is getting some family on this show, no way in hell do I count the travesty that is Ava (UGH!).

Maybe this means more airtime for Olivia? Better be, Crystal Chappell is one of the few actors left on daytime that can spin s-h-i-t writing into gold. She's way too good for GL in its current state though...

Wouldn't Matthew Ashford be a little young for Phillip? I'm not sure how old he is, but I could maybe buy that. I'd prefer Scott Bryce though. Wes Ramsey's return is amazing. That guy is so sexy and can act which is rare on the PGP soaps for young actors.

I do kind of mind Phillip Spaulding being recast because there's only ONE and ONLY Phillip Spaulding for me and that's Grant Aleksander. And I still don't like how they're writing Phillip these days. It's like MADD is still lurking in the shadows telling Kreizman and Wheeler how to portray him, and that's not the Phillip that I've known ever since I was a cute little youngster.

I loved Wesley Ramsey to death. Talented and sexy beyond belief. Hopefully he'll deliver an angry monologue while shirtless this time around. Ahhhhhh.
