I cringed a little when Lexie told EJ that Kayla was pregnant, but i think that was their way of letting the audience know..Pretty stupid though..But that said it was nice seeing EJ and Lexie interact as siblings, hope to see more of them together..

I really enjoyed the whole show today..it was great having so many characters on...Practically all my favorite characters are in Ireland now, so i'm liking that..And i really liked the Coleen and Shawn Sr. scenes..They were very sweet...

Also John throwing Marlena into the door was a shocker..nice cliffhanger ending...

Upon hearing Lucas is getting 10 to 20 years, I jumped for joy. Then, I was brought down when I remembered that there are rumors that Higley is supposedly reversing the decision to write Lucas off the show. Lets hope that rumor turns out to be false and Lucas is gone. :)

Bryan looks horrible, BTW. They're really going for the realistic look, I guess. That's a good thing. It's better than when Lindsey was arrested on OLTL and she was wearing a black top and tight blue jeans and stillehtos in jail!

While I like the DiMera sibling interaction between Lexie and EJ, I have to wonder how Lexie can be so forgiving of EJ. She keeps going off on Stefano for locking her in the tunnel below Doug's Place, but it was EJ that actually did it. They haven't had any scenes together where it's been said that she forgave him. When Renee Jones returned in June, Lexie didn't even have a scene with EJ or Stefano. That bugged me. But I guess you could say that she knows first hand the influence Stefano has on people to make them do things they normally wouldn't do. Maybe she's giving him the benefit of the doubt. I just wish they would have had a little subtle hint that she still doesn't trust EJ fully. Like have her be worried about being in the cabin alone with EJ. They could have easily had her keep asking when Sami would return, and then EJ come out and ask if Lexie is still scared of him. It would only take one scene to do it. *Sigh* <_<

Lexie's a horrible doctor. She shouldn't be telling anyone her patients' business except for her patients. The juvenile, lazy writing is in full effect, folks.

I thought Grandpa Shawn's reunion with Colleen was sweet. The girl he looked up to as a child and thought he was responsible for her death is really alive. That must relieve him of so much heartache to know he wasn't the cause of her dying after all. I'm going to miss him.

 at John knocking Marlena out. I watched it on the Prevuze and was cracking up on Friday. And then I forgot about it, so when it happened I busted out laughin again. Camp at it's best. And people really can't say this is out of character for John because you have to remember that this isn't John. I guess this proves to Marlena that she's not so safe with Pawn John like she thought. But hell, even the real John has been known to hit a few women at times. He punched Crystal Galore (played by Sarah Buxton) in 2004, and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he slap Sami too during the SSK storyline?

Hated Steve and Kayla being the ones to tell Bo about his illness. That was just stupid.

The Shawn/Belle/Philip/Chloe storyline has quickly turned into [!@#$%^&*] in less than a week. This story is horrible now. All is forgiven with Shawn and Belle after a five minute discussion on the plane? Philip is ready to give up on Belle and Claire? Shawn and Philip are friends, and planning a dinner date for the four of them? BULLSHIT!

:puke:

Okay, so that's what happened. There was a second that I missed....I just saw Marlena going down....I thought Jawn punched her.

That was the best scene today. Frank Parker and Shirley did a wonderful job. And I loved Bo/Kayla holding each other as they watched the tearful reunion.

You mean this Toups?

The expression on John's face as he turned to look at Colleen was the absolute best part of it. I don't know if this was intended to be totally funny but it sure hit me that way (because of how it was done and Marlena/John's expressions)

date: Tuesday, May 13 | Sara A. Bibel, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Anthony Pascarelli So Deadbeat's secret has to do with a car accident? At least Nicole is getting dressed. That's a sign of good things to come. Eva looks gorgeous in her sparkling pink number. Very age-appropriate and fashionable. So, Douglas is back to his gambling addictions and lying to Vanessa, and here comes Joey, ready to fully cash in on the debt owed to him. Jan, you look gullible, but do not let Dana continue to trick you into believing her sob story, because it's just that: a story. If you're going to eavesdrop on someone, maybe do not make it so apparent (i.e., the new character: Kenny). But at least Deadbeat isn't running for president anymore. That's a sigh of relief. Anastasia, the town gossip, is a mood. Hoping she's an occasional guest when things need to be spiced up a bit. So, Deadbeat is no hero? This is alluding to this big, bad secret that's being harboured. Interesting. "You is kind, you is smart, you is important." We love historical references, this time to The Help. Oh, the showdown face; Nicole's slight eyebrow lift at the sight of Ted and Eva. If Vanessa knew she'd be showing up with Dani, then she really should have given them a heads up about who was at the country club. Not Derek just throwing his nasty, dirty shirt on the ground. I would be completely pissed off... and I guarantee he's using all of the steamy hot water, and I would absolutely off him. He and his ugly-ass chair would be out of the home. Oh, so everyone knows about Anastasia, and I do adore her. She gives me Leanna Love from Y&R, but even juicier. Eva, don't beg Dana for forgiveness; she manipulated you most of all... and you deserve better. So Anatasia wants lip filler? Or is she hinting at something else...? Well, well, well... Joey's true colours are finally coming out, and not going to lie... I believe him. Dana putting on a show that makes her look even more psychotic than she actually is. Dougie boy, do not sell out Vanessa and her business. The anvils dropping about Dana's future in Fairmont Crest keep coming out more and more. Months to build debt and one week to pay it off? Sounds about right to me. Notes: Karla Mosley (Dani) was right during the premiere week: Dani would be leveled out, and these last few episodes have showcased that. It's nice seeing Mosley showcase some good range and the capability of everyday range, as well. Jon Lindstrom (Joey) is showing what a capable actor he is; GH only barely tapped into that during the long-winded, dragged-out Kevin Chamberlain revisit. Ambyr Michelle (Eva) continues to be the undisputed standout amongst the cast. She's going places. Brandon Claybon (Martin) and Ben Gavin (Derek) continue to be standouts in the most needing of being recast, immediately. We've now got a second year under our belt, so now is the time to tweak the casting on both roles. Although Derek could easily be written out via a fire or emergency via his job.
    • Typo as I am referring to Dani alone.
    • She's jealous and resentful that Bill didnt fight for her the way Ted is for Nicole
    • Trisha makes it so hard to hate Leslie. Missy is just getting started to unravel. Can not wait.
    • CharacterS, plural. Who besides Dani are you speaking of here? Just curious. Of course, could be the s is a typo.
    • Very happy we got Mona's reactions yesterday and now Jan's today.  I'm so happy they aren't forgetting these minor characters.
    • Some of this is just YMMV. For example, I couldn't be more positive about Dani. I believe she has avid fans like me, people like you who do not appreciate her & probably most people in the middle for varying reasons. I see a lot of people liking her BUT feeling she is one step forward & then two back.  And, then I am not as enamored of Leslie/Dana/Sheila/Sherry/Anna/Etc. as some are.  I think it's a good thing that there's a variety of opinions on specific characters! I picture this Venn diagram of us where as a whole we REALLY LIKE THE SHOW but like soap fans we don't agree about specifics. OH! I had an amazing encounter yesterday - a soap opera fan who hates the show. Turned out she was as racist as could be. UGH.  Otherwise, I loved the reveal & last Thursday & yesterday. Specifically yesterday I loved Dani, Anita, Nicole &  Mona.
    • Now Vernon feeling bad for Eva too. The Dupree women will NOT be happy with the men in their family
    • Ambyr Michelle continues to win! That scene with Martin was good, and nice to see him be nice to her like that. I'm very curious who the guy is spying on everyone at Orphey's.
