Boniadi over Sonya Eddy? Mykel Shannon Jenkins for a dayplayer role?

Ummmm........I disagree with some of these nominations.

Nazanin? I mean really. WTF has she done? Sonya Eddy could (and should) have been nominated. As well as Kent King. She may not have had major story, but she had some pretty good scenes this year. Both were better options than Naz.....

How Mykel gets a nomination for is beyond my comprehension. You're telling me there's no better choice? *Sigh* If anything, why couldn't the guy who plays Vincent on Passions gotten a nom?

And it's a sad statement of the daytime landscape if Mykel Jennings gets a nomination for -- what, exactly?

Brown and Esensten over at AMC should be given tons of credit for sticking to their word. They said they'd be slowly introducing a more diverse cast of characters, and they totally meant it! It's been incredibly slow!

Gotta to love the NAACP. They nominated Marla Gibbs a couple of years for her work on Passions for only one eppy.

The sad part is that Christel can get it. I mean who she really going up against. then I can just seeing her throwing the trophy in the back of the closet.

I'm hoping Brook Kerr gets it. Woo maybe Tracy Ross would be the 2nd coming of Victoria sweeping the NAACP.

I think Brook Kerr and Kristoff St. John deserve to win this year.

Half of the actors didn't even have storylines. Tobias Trivullon? Tika Sumper? Mykel Shannon Jenkins? Nazanin Boniadi?? These actors were nothing but glorified props for the entire year.

The Networks should be ashamed of themselves. Daytime has become so whitewashed it's ridiculous!

Jenkins is under contract. He is the first African American under contract to B&B.

And then they were progressive enough to think outside the box and recognize Angelina Jolie's woman of color impersonation in A Mighty Heart.

Woman of color. Please. Pearl was not black.
