IA that this isn't the type of of thing they should do. There's no need for them to go after votes via lying.

Here is McCain again making it sound as if there is something noble about his candidacy:

And, from what was just said on CNN (Conservative News Network) the POTUS cannot remove anyone from that position. I may have it backwards because I'm at work and was half-ass listening.

Here:

One reference? Why, what a balanced article! I feel better now! :P

I think both campaigns have done it, although I believe McCain is far worse about it. Then again, I support Obama.  I think the ad about kindergarten was really pathetic. What is interesting is that McCain/Palin have been called on their statements and ads and continue to move along as if the statements and ads were totally correct.

Actually, the ads ARE correct.

*** Fools rush in: Over the past week, independent analysts and news organizations have criticized -- deservedly so -- the falsehoods and misleading statements from McCain’s TV ads and remarks on the stump. But now the Obama campaign has unveiled a whopper of its own by comparing McCain to Rush Limbaugh in a new Spanish-language ad on immigration. "They want us to forget the insults we've put up with, the intolerance," the ad’s announcer says, per the Washington Post. Then a picture of Limbaugh appears onscreen with quotes of him saying, "Mexicans are stupid and unqualified" and "Shut your mouth or get out." The narrator continues, "John McCain and his Republican friends have two faces. One that says lies just to get our vote and another, even worse, that continues the failed policies of George Bush that put special interests ahead of working families." The big problem with this ad: McCain and Limbaugh don’t agree on the issue of comprehensive immigration reform. It’s a pretty low blow, particularly since McCain did see his campaign nearly die because of his support for immigration and the attacks he was receiving on the right from Limbaugh and other talk radio conservatives. Then again, the McCain camp and RNC are airing radio ads blaming Obama for scuttling comprehensive immigration reform because he backed “poison pill” amendments. But that’s not true, either: The GOP base killed immigration reform, not some amendments that immigration advocates also supported.

Completely unecessary and low brow. There is plenty of material to rightfully hit JM on without resorting to doing the same crap he has done.

This ad needs to be pulled and this needs to not happen again from them.

That is a cheesy ad and needs to be pulled. There is no excuse for resorting to the same low brow tactics used by the GOP.

It would really be nice if both candidates stopped making the campaign about whoever in the media they do not like. What possible service did McCain provide voters with his silly Spain game, and what service does Obama play linking Rush Limbaugh to anyone. Stop spending money fighting with enemies in the medis.

The article I posted says that the President cannot. At most, the President can probably apply enough pressure to force a resignation.

No they are not and I am not going to engage in a circular argument with you.

Okay I'm very very slow today....what's this about CNN....Conservative News Network?

I am thrown off by this as well. I've always thought CNN was fairly un-bias among the cable news network and if they lean any way, its to the left, not the right.

I think it is pretty fair too.

That is what it SHOULD be called, with all the McCain butt-kissing I see on there.

I say this because, John King, Cambell Brown and some others seem, to me, to be rather one-sided on the campaigns. Jack Cafferty, Jeff Tubin & Roland Martin seem to be some of the few who try and balance things out to me.

Just my opinion. :)

The chairman of the SEC can be demoted by the President.

I appreciate the fact that McCain is at least setting up a plan, and developing ideas for a solution. All I've heard from the Obama camp is pokes at McCain's plan. What does Obama plan to do about Wall Street? If Obama is elected he cant pick apart McCain's plan any longer, he will need to acutally lead and come up with his own ideas.

Anyone who makes Obama out to be some pervert is just sick.

And those who keep saying that he wanted sex ed. taught..........if the parents are not saying one word to these kids, where in the hell does anyone expect them to learn this stuff?

The intention was not to paint Obama as a pervert. The ad never used the word. The ad sheds light on his (what's a nice way of putting this?)...stances that are not exactly "middle of the road".

Most Americans (myself included) believe that any form of sex ed for Kindergarterners is a tad early.

Every one learns about sex eventually, whether the parents are involved or not. Roman, I'm sure you learned it at some point in your life. It's definitely not the job of a Kindergarten teacher to start the education of sex!
