September 15, 200817 yr Member I see. Ideally, and probably most people are like this, if we could merge the good things about one candidate with the other it would be a perfect world. Until there is a way for a 3rd party candidate to have an impact on elections, this back and forth between Repubs and Dems will continue. Right on!

September 15, 200817 yr Member I would be afraid. She certainly does not belong in the White House. Welp, I guess I'll have to break out my copies of Roots & North And South. You know......to kinda brush up. Edited September 15, 200817 yr by Roman
September 15, 200817 yr Member An argument could also be made that George Bush can be compared to Adolf Hitler....... How can you compare Bush to Hitler? Just wondering..Hitler was a good speaker..LOL, just kidding..but how do you compare him to Bush? So I would say Obama is just as much as a Marxist, as Bush is a Nazi. Obama has surrounded himself with Marxist ideals since college. Did you read the article I put up? The lady that wrote the article said that "community organizers" in Chicago were founded by a Marxist. Does anyone have any explanations as to why he surrounded himself with Marxism? I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, much like I am doing with Palin. Same thing in respect to Palin. I don't believe she is a fascist, but the notion that she is quoting fascist literature begs the unavoidable question, who the hell is fact checking her speeches/campaign? I am starting to understand how all of the "facts" about Obama have been exagerated. You kind of turn a blind eye to those kind of accusations until its your candidate that starts to be targeted. I don't believe that Palin is Fascist just because she is very conservative or because she quotes an author that some describe as Fascist.. Edited September 15, 200817 yr by Casey008

September 15, 200817 yr Member Does this mean that if she assends to the WH, blacks may be returned to a life of bondage? Just asking. I doubt that. I hope you are kidding. How can you make that kind of leap from her quoting a guy that R.Kennedy Jr. thinks is Fascist? http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/...on-bounce-gone/ CNN POLL OF POLLS: McCain's convention bounce gone Wasn't McCain behind before the RNC? I don't think his bounce has totally eroded or he would be behind again.

September 15, 200817 yr Member Now I'm positive she has no place in the White House, this is more evidence she's too far to the right. But you know, I had heard she had pulled for Obama before she was on the ticket. A good friend of mine just filled me in on that .
September 15, 200817 yr Member But you know, I had heard she had pulled for Obama before she was on the ticket. A good friend of mine just filled me in on that . Somebody probably wrote that speech for her but I just thought it was an interesting tidbit. It's simply not a good idea to quote a racist when you want to serve all the people....especially in light of what he wanted to happen to Kennedy. I don't think Obama is a Marxist because he's obviously doing quite well for himself under capitalism but fascism and Marxism aren't close to being the same thing. Sure if someone called me a Marxist I would be deeply offended since that would mean that I would believe in the horrible notion that class structure would be dissolved, everyone would be on equal footing and society would be managed for the good of all.....positively dreadful since I love seeing panhandlers begging for money and all.

I agree. Those greedy capitalists. We should take their money and give it to those panhandlers and reward bad decision making. Let's just get rid of decision making. We should let the government control all aspects of our lives so we don't have to make decisions any more!
