Barack Obama Elected President!

If you replace the words Barack Obama with Sara Palin, then ICAM.

Actually dozens if not hundreds of articles have been written about it where the reporters have intensely investigated the situations; if anything I think the media has put too much negative criticism and some have exaggerated the situations to make Obama seem worse and not have called out McCain's hypocrisy for his negative ties, oftentimes with the same organizations and people.

McCain and Obama have similar views on coal - from reading the article it just shows what liars and hypocrites the GOP is - don't get me wrong - all politicians are to some degree but the GOP takes it to a disgusting and incomprehensibly malevolent level that has made me lose complete and total respect and trust for them:

http://www.jedreport.com/2008/11/ohios-gop...ccain-will.html

So all his supporters think that or just a few crazies like there are on the McCain side - although I do think that McCain has more who drank the crazy kool-aid of Rush Limbaugh and other conservative talk radio hosts, Fox News, the Druge Report and several others. But, if you believe that then I guess you better vote for Obama.

Apparently nothing. If he was hiding something they would not have been on his plane in the first place - it's my understanding that they were just recently replaced by other reporters who I assume were guaranteed a space the last weekend of the election. BTW, Obama just did an interview with Katie Couric this weekend - he talks about his Aunt's situation so you know it is VERY recent - check it out on CBS News tonight. Where exactly did you read that he he won't answer ANY questions until after Election Day - could it be the place where you also read these other biased or just plain wrong "facts"?

I thought that there would be very grim days ahead for an America under a Bush presidency but I was willing to give him a chance and unfortunately I was proven right twice. If he is elected, at least give Obama a chance to prove you right (or wrong).

Well he did include a link to hotair.com so I figured that's what this is.....I mean am I supposed to take this seriously? When I said that Maureen O'Dowd was no longer permitted to travel on the "Straight Talk Express" no one said hmmmm is McCain hiding something (and she isn't the only one who was banned since there was Joe Klein and others)? Only Obama seems to have crooked intentions and what have you so I take this as the joke it is.

And moving along....I can understand people who say they're worried about the economy saying they want to give Obama a chance but I don't understand anyone who says McCain has the fix......would that be the fix he pushed when he suspended his campaign???

McCain does not represent any sort of change. I still don't see all the enthusiasm for him coming from the Republicans at all. They're more preoccupied with the flaws in their opponents to say what's good and positive about themselves or their party and they're not keeping up with the changing face of this nation. I can see McCain represents the status quo for some people who probably need to hold on to the way things are for their own special reasons.

I've never thought of it quite like that before.   Other than that disagreement, it's good to hear from you Brian. I will support whoever is elected president. That is the nature of democracy. Also there are grim days ahead regardless of who gets elected. We are in for a very rough time. The country is a mess right now. I don't think Obama losing would lead to another civil war, but I can't recall anyone saying that it would.

By the way, part of the reason that McCain will lose, in my opinion, is that he consistently misrepresented the truth. A number of those misrepresentations are in your post. Had he talked about himself and his own policies, rather than not telling the truth. I think he would have done far better in the election. McCain's strongest argument would have been character -- his own, not Obama's. When he opted to become something that he once despised, he doomed his own campaign.

Seriously?!?!

How could people be so cruel? There are truly some nuts out there.

And, as for Sarah Palin's comments about parts of this country being more "American" than others, that is just sad. I was also offended by it. I am a very patriotic person, and I think it portrays her as inexperienced, desperate, and unqualified to be only a heartbeat away from the Presidency. I hope Obama and other Democrats win in a landslide tomorrow. :)

    • 6-6   Hmmmm. Not my favorite of the week. However, it showed the strength of Jazmen's script writing against RC's breakdown. And he's good enough to rise above almost all of RC's tics. Though I guess the real question would be would I have caught 'Carl' author thing if I had not heard it mentioned here?

I felt the stories moved and while there were situations, they weren't the slapsticky I would expect from a RC breakdown. Well-done, Jazmen.   I guess I liked it on a second viewing. I'm just sorry that outside of Bill's subplot and Chelesa's love life C plot, it did not continue the majority of the stories that were going on this week. I still liked what I got so I guess it was worth it for potential flow interruption. Though I have to note that Eva and Kat have been dancing around each other all week and since it is a by-product of the SilkPress storyline, I love how the story can be used separate from the main part of that plot, which kept this episode with a thread attached to the main stories of this week.   It has been a minute since I saw a situation where a character has to get into someone's room and it seems plausible. Of course, Kat has to use her family name. That said...those scenes did not seem implausible at all, but that could be my industry experience showing. Meanwhile, Eva and Tomas continue to grow closer. But even I had to side-eye when he finally declared his interest for Kat. Because it seem like he had been working hard to give mixed signals to Eva and Kat. And NOW he's devoted to Kat? And I am smh at Kat thinking Eva is the one who ran Laura off the road now. Just le sigh. BUT keeps their rivalry going if she accuses Eva and it turns out to be false. Eva will be looking for the payback. And she will be justified.   I know I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed the Doug/Vanessa/Joey scenes. I've mentioned it before, but of all the B stories, it was the only one that was given enough room to grow and had a build to it. And you could cut the tension in that room with a knife. Everyone gave a good performance. You could see the distance between Doug and Vanessa. And for all that drama...there still was more to play with the other shoe dropping of Doug finding out Vanessa and Joey slept together. Just juicy. Even if the end goal apparently seems to be money laundering.   Lord...Bill wasn't really even out of the hospital for an episode without having to go back in again, was he? lol. Good to see his separate story progressing.    Same for Chelesa and her love life. I'm not sure if Naomi is right. That said, I do like the cliffhanger of Mystery Woman being Bill's doctor. Not to mention Kat with the evidence.
